People ask the hubby what he washes his clothes in!

Women at work have been asking my hubby what he washes his clothes in. Hmmm. Well, needless to say, my husband has NO idea what laundry detergent I use. I've sent the hubby off to work with a little note in his wallet, "Brandon's WIFE uses Gain Powder Original Scent Laundry Detergent on his clothes."Onto the details.......In my opinion, the powder works better at cleaning than that liquid. And there's not another detergent that can beat the scent of Gain. I purchased 240 load deal after seeing 120 loads at Wal-Mart for $17 + tax. You can't beat this subscribe and save deal! But it's so much detergent that it'll take me at least 6 months to use all of it! That's not a bad thing!!! ;-) I HIGHLY recommend Gain powder in the original scent, and especially the 2 120 load boxes.

GREAT detergent

I've been a Tide washer for years now, but I happened upon a good deal on Amazon when this was still subscribe-and-save. It actually is doing a much better job cleaning my clothes than Tide was, and it's less expensive! I have two children who don't consider it a full day until their clothes are covered in mud, paint and/or ketchup. With Tide, the pile of play clothes (not deemed wearable in public due to staining) was getting bigger and bigger. I've done several loads in Gain, and it's doing an amazing job lifting out those stains.I've heard many people comment on the odor of Gain. Most find it enjoyable. When I'm doing laundry the smell is overpowering and permeates the laundry room, the hallway and into the kitchen for hours. I consider that a definite "con" - it's not a smell I'd like that strongly in my house. However, once the clothes are rinsed and dried, the smell is not so strong and is actually pleasant on the clothes.Overall, I'll be buying this again. If you get it on Amazon, watch for the price fluctuations. It's gone up twenty dollars for the 2-pack since I bought it a few weeks ago. Might come back down, but at the current price while I'm writing this review, it's much more cost effective to buy it locally.

Harder to find

I was wanting to copy some old VHS tapes over to digital, and needed a VHS player. These are getting harder and harder to find. This Magnavox is about well built as any other on the market and did the trick in getting my precious memories transferred over. I used a HT Honestech Vid Box and it does a wonderful job.

good performer in spite of poor packaging

It took about ten days to receive my VCR, but I was satisfied with shippers explanation of illness delaying shipment. When i opened the package there was about thirty foam peanuts and 1 small sheet 8x10 inch piece of bubble wrap that did not really provide any protection. I plugged in the VCR and it ate my first tape immediately I thought oh well not worth sending it back, But i decided to open it and found about six foam peanuts had found their way inside the machine and jammed the mechanism. After removing those it has been working perfectly, so i am lucky to have opened it but think better packaging should be in order in the future. On the plus side the VCR works very well for the small price that i paid and i am happy with it.

New product, not the old product

To all the people who are looking for the original Tide-Non Ultra, this is not it. It seems this is just a picture of the Original Tide. If you order you will get the new stuff, which will be the Ultra Tide Concentrate. I order this based on the picture and because I've had it before and I know what I am looking for but I got the Ultra. It seems there is no more Original Tide to be had anywhere so don't waste your time ordering this based on this picture. If you like the Ultra, by all means order but if you are like me and want the Original, this is not it.

Allergy prevention, in a box

Ever since a severe rash sent me to a dermatologist decades ago, I've been using Tide detergent. Liquid detergents, he said, are dangerous to your skin. They contain all kinds of irritants not included in an old-fashioned box of Tide.Based on that advice, for upwards of 20 years I've avoided skin rashes from the nasty chemicals in liquid soap detergents.I'm especially pleased with Amazon's subscription offering for Tide, too. Buying this way is so much less expensive than buying in a store, not to mention avoiding the schlepping (carrying heavy loads).Tide is an economical, safe clothes detergent, which I recommend highly.

Am NOT a Pro Photographer - But am smart enough to know this lens is a steal... and a truly great Macro lens

Bought this for a friend's Sony A Series DSLR. They love macro photography, so a recent birthday gave me an excuse to get this for them.Let me first say that I've been reading all manner of lens reviews and researching best "bang for the buck", both online and with Pro and Semi-Pro photographers I know and respect for over a year. I have almost pulled the trigger on several different lens choices, but never did because of many reasons, but primarily because I wan't convinced I found "the" perfect lens.Until I found this lens, I had almost settled on one of the "half telephoto, half macro, sort of good at both but really good at neither" lenses, knowing that the user would have been perfectly happy with any of them. Once I discovered this lens, at this price point, I knew I potentially found the lens I had been searching for.Now that it has arrived, been given as a gift and used, and I've seen the results (and taken more than a few shots myself) I can confidently say this is the ideal general purpose macro lens, that actually doubles pretty well as an indoor close-up lens for live music events. You will have to have exceptionally gifted eyesight to find flaws in the pictures this lens produces, even blown up full screen on a 24" monitor or on professionally printed blow-ups.I honestly don't understand the comments about this lens being noisy, or having long focus seek times. The AF motor is audible, but hardly obnoxious or annoying. Focusing time is entirely dependent on how well (and steadily) the camera is held. The better you do your job, the faster the lens does its job.In short, I am 100% sold on Tamron lens quality, and 200% sold on Tamron lens value.In fact I already know that next birthday I'll be getting them a Tamron Telephoto, and I have almost an entire year to decide which one.

Forget it

This product was ordered in August it is almost November, delivery is no where in sight. This might be a great lens but Amazon cannot deliver, Tamron cannot deliver. I have been receiving excuse since August, I called Tamron and they do not have a CLUE! Bottom line is Sigma makes the same lens, buy theirs dont patronize these other yahoo's.

Better than expected!

I bought this pickup simply to replace one that had gone bad in an Ibanez beater. on appearance alone i was impressed, it definitely looked well made. after hearing it i was even more surprised, in my opinion it sounds fantastic! so fantastic i took it out of the junk beater and swapped it with the stock pickup in my Carvin ct6. as a bonus it sounds amazing with the Carvin legacy tube amp. i am very pleased

Lots of air, virtually no water :)

I bought these to install on a 94 Chevy G-Van (old body with triangle vent windows...) that I do a lot of cross country driving in. They fit great, and allow me to get much needed fresh air through rain & snow when the front defroster heat who kill me before. Only drawback is now the vent windows can only be opened about 1.5 inches (which is not a great loss of function as long as the A/C works :). Highly recommend for chevy large truck/SUV & G-Van owners!

Kick it up a notch!

I have a set of these pups and they sound great!. But, I must admit that the bridge pickup is too loud for my tonal pallet. That's why I only gave these pickups 4 stars. Overall, this pickup set combination is good if you want a loud pickup in the bridge (good for Metal and Indies music). IMO, I recommend the Light Blue Lace Sensor pickup in the bridge position.

Good pickups if you want to cover a lot of ground

One thing you should know is that they aren't completely noiseless although they do come very close. They actually a single coil design that uses a kind of shielding and unique comb sensor to keep out the noise and reduce string pull. This means that they keep the clarity and dynamic playing response than people who play single coils love so much. They can also be set much closer to the strings. All of the pickups are beefier than a traditional single coil. Billy Corgan made this set famous during his Smashing Pumpkings but these pickups can do just about anything whether it be blues, metal, shoegaze, or jazz. I've also tried these with the silver in the neck and the blue in the middle. It sounded really nice that way as well even though most people use the red in the bridge, silver in the middle, and blue in the neck. If you want your strat to be very versatile, this set is the way to go. I am a fan of the set in black more than the white ones honestly. Keep in mind that you can't change the covers on these like traditional single coils.

Good noiseless pickups

I bought a squier strat to customize. These were the pickups that I put in it. Very rich tone from the blue and silver. Really good low end for that warm bluesy sound. The red pickup is fun with distortion. I am happy with my purchase.

Great Quality but Immovable

This was a pricey toy, but I decided to splurge on it for Christmas since it completes my daughter's set of Spongebob character plushes. It is totally worth the price in terms of quality, detail and workmanship. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that I wish the tentacles weren't sewn together so kids could move them independently to "walk" Squidward. This would be like Spongebobs legs being sewn together so he couldn't walk -- not the best for imaginative play. I'm not sure why it's made that way - I don't watch the show myself very carefully so maybe he doesn't walk on independently moving tentacles there either.

Good Squidward

I enjoy this Squidward beanie a lot! Once Squidward came in my Spongebob ty collection was officially complete. I will admit, the only exception was the price. I wish it wasn't so expensive. If It only cost oh say, $7.99 I would've been eager. But nevertheless, this Squidward is better than the old toy I used to have. It doen't have those bendy nails poking out. And Squidward himself is a hilarious character. I lov how he is 100% pessimistic and I also call anyone who acts mopey a "Squidward."

How to put the seat fabric back on after washing

1. Push the fabric seat down thru the middle of the exersaucer as if it were properly in place. Make sure the white label sewn onto the seat is toward the INSIDE of the seat at the moment. The label should also be toward the back of the seat, which is where the baby's back would be. The white sewn-on label has a red diamond on it, though mine was washed off. It should be toward a tiny triangle mark molded into the outside of the seat back.2. Fold the seat fabric over the red plastic seat back so the white sewn-on label is now on the outside of the seat rim. Do the same all around, so the fabric covers the red plastic seat rim sort of like a padded bumper.3. Grab a thin implement like a butter knife. Put the point of the knife inside one of the elastic loops and push it between the seat ring and the rotating ring, from outside to inside. There is a thin slot here all around which you can see through. The loop should go through fairly easily, in a horizontal orientation.4. When you get a loop thru to the inside, grab it, pull it down under the rotating ring, then toward the outside of the ES, and finally around one of the little red prongs on the underside of the rotating ring (made for this purpose).5. Back up top, grab the white plastic tab that's attached to the elastic loop you just fastened. Lever it down and into the slot between the seat ring and the rotating ring that you just pushed the loop through. This holds the fabric down low around the red plastic rings, where it belongs.6. Repeat all around.

Not bad

I chose this model of exersaucer because it was the least "busy;" no batteries, no flashing lights, no loud music or beeping or other ADHD-inducing extras. It's pretty basic, but our 4-month-old enjoys it.We weren't sure if she'd be able to sit and play in it yet, although it is recommended for 4 months and up, but she does just fine. If your baby is still a little wobbly, like ours, just be sure she keeps her hands up near the tray. Our daughter sometimes puts her hands down into the seat near her legs, and has almost hit her head on one of the toys when she couldn't balance without her hands.My only complaint about this exersaucer is that the toys are kind of lame. The spinning frog is a hit, but the other toys are pretty bland chunks of plastic. Luckily, you can buy "Switcheroos," different toys that snap in and out of the holes in the tray. Some of these are much more interesting than the included toys, so I think we'll be upgrading soon. All in all, though, this exersaucer is a good toy for the money.

A Fun Basic

This is a nice basic product. My baby would be overstimulated by all the lights and noise of the more expensive versions. It is a great place for baby to bounce and have fun in and it gives parent's arms a break. I can't imagine the average four month old enjoying it, it seems more suited to a six month old child. The assembly took about 30 minutes. Read the directions before you begin and don't try to do it with your little one around. One place where the instuctions are not as clear as they could be: When you put the three yellow legs into position, they just hang there. Don't, as I did, waste your time trying to snap them into position.They won't be held firm until the next step when you you slip in the springs and position the caps.Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. My little one (we got this when he was 6 months old) loves to play in it. As someone else pointed out, the toys could be better for teething on but that wouldn't prevent me from buying this product.

I received this off my wish list from a dear friend and I must say, it's stunning. It's both delicate and sturdy. The craftsman's shift is beautiful, in what you would expect a piece to cost four times this amount. The stone is beautiful and large, without being gaudy.It's a stunning piece of work. All you lads out there, should buy this for you lass, and make her very happy!Wonderful piece I highly recommend for quality and price.

Very Pretty Wedding Necklace.

I bought this necklace to go with my renaissance wedding outfit. It matched perfectly and was the look that I wanted. It is made well and has clean lines. The celtic design in the silver work is just what I was looking for. The stone color is clear and a nice shade of peridot green - just like in the picture. The only fault it has with me is that I thought it would be a little bigger (I didnt really pay attention to the listed measurement - my fault). Its about and inch and a half-ish wide. Overall I really love it and would recommend it as a good buy.

My recipient was very happy with this item. It looks very good on her. It is a smidge smaller than it appears in the photo, but that comes with the territory of buying things online.
