a beauty of a british bread box

After waiting almost two months for the Liquorice (black) color to be available, the first unit I received was cracked. A call to Amazon had a replacement on the way; arrived two days later - broken. Today, the third unit arrived, thankfully in one piece. I must say this is one beautiful bread box! One star deducted though for the steep price combined with apparently fragile nature.It's nice and very convenient that the lid is also a cutting board. The underside of the lid is lightly routed to keep help keep it securely seated on the container. It also comes with instructions on how to periodically and properly oil the board.A ceramic container this size can be useful for many different applications around the home or kitchen. I own so many cooking gadgets that I am already thinking this may wind up providing a home for my utensils on the counter someday.I'd like to see if the ceramic works differently than other bread boxes to keep bread fresher longer; I'll update this review as needed with any findings in that department.Pleased with this purchase though and definitely worth the wait!

Great Bread Bin!

I bought this on another site because everytime I tried to get it on Amazon, it was out of stock. I love this bread box. It looks great on my counter and it holds 3 loaves of bread, standing. It is also long enough to fit our local bakery's italian and french loaves. It keeps bread fresh much longer and the cutting board works well.

An upgrade to my PBass

This was an improvement to the stock pickups that came with my PBass. It sounds quieter and cleaner than it was before. The only thing quieter would be an acoustic bass. The lows sound deeper and the instrument seems more responsive.

Should be a 10 star

I am very sensitive to chemicals. I give the HealthMate Plus credit for saving my life. With it in my home I can handle odors and chemicals from other apartments and the outside.Mine has been thru neighbors painting, and remodeling. I did have a break down with it and the warranty was honored. They even put an emergency tag on the repair so it was repaired faster.The newer ones are so much more quieter than the old ones. When I got mine back from the factory I was constantly putting my hand on it to see if it was running. It was just so quiet.This is one of the first items that I recommend for a chemically sensitive person to buy.When the box arrived all I had to do was lift the box off and plug it in. It was so well packed I was impressed.

Nice Unit

The unit works well but has some design flaws that could be added such as: a variable speed control to adjust the speed (sound) beyond just the three choices, the outlet could be adjustable so you could direct the flow of the air wiout moving the unit, the strength of the casing could be stronger so that if somene accidentially sits on it that would not be a problem (got kids?), and the manufacturing company could bother to answer their emails and cold write you back (which they don't) with a confirmation so that you *know* they have received your warranty registration online. I would buy the unit again and wanted another unit, but since the company did not answer back my emails when I had questions about an other use for an additional one I did not bother to buy the second one. So far I don't feel the manufacturer cares much about their customers and hope there will be no problems when I have to deal with them in the future.

An awesome product

After much research and debate, I decided to go with this purifier because it was an Austin that I could afford and it seemed like the Austin brand was the most reliable. I actually purchased the pink version because it was on sale and then spray painted it. It is great. The air in my bedroom smells much fresher, and the lowest setting is very quiet and not at all disturbing. It's easy to maintain and you don't have to worry about ion particles. I'm delighted that I purchased this and I would do it again.

These pickups sound like a dream. I replaced the stock pickups from my old Gibson SG Special with these and I'm so glad I did. I got bored of the same ol' SG tone that did not have enough life in it. Amazing Tonal Experience

Pros: everything the manufacture said about this pick up... is trueCons: not really a down side but Lace Brand name on the pickups is just not necessaryI have gone through quite a number of bridge pickups even my Luther was tired of getting my money. I have a firebird pickup in the neck of a semi-hollow body guitar and wasn't happy with a number of pickups to compliment it. Since it is not a true humbucker and much warmer for a single-coil partner in the bridge (not to mention the no-pole look of the designs) I just happen to come across this. Not afraid to try something new with barium ferrite magnets I had them installed. It was a wonder when they lived up to their description. You can go from humbucker thick tone to twangy single coil with your pick attack alone. The one thing I don't like about Lace is that he puts the name brand on the pickup so I peeled it off. I was one of the last piece to complete my upgraded guitar and it's being years now and I can't say I have any complaints. It is so good and fits so well I completely forgot how the others sounded like.

Bell tone from a humbucker...

I recently helped a friend install one of these into a Tele-copy. I was completely amazed at the bell tones that came out of this humbucker!! Volume on 10, bell tone with all the overdrive you could want. Volume on 8, the sound completely cleans up without losing any bell tone. I am hoping to get one and tap it... I can only imagine what the pickup sounds like running in single mode.

Very good pickups.Very surprising in the begining because you have to make some adjustements to the typical settings you have on your amps. You must add trebles and you have the perfect crisp and twang from a single coil. The bass are not too present but the middles sing and you have a good presence.I'll certainly by another set with normal output 6K on bridge pickup.

Decent piece of equipment

This machine is decent. It is adequate enough for doing glute-ham raises or hyperextensions.While you can do the exercises on this machine without much trouble, the machine itself does have a few design flaws. First, the machine could stand to be constructed a little bit more sturdier. It is slightly wobbly, even when all screws are fastened tightly. Secondly, the seat pad apparently has a severe defect with it. The cushion can separate from the wooden base. Lastly, the seat cushion is not very comfortable for males. It puts a lot of pressure on the genitals and the pubic bone.The other issue is Yukon's (the manufacturer) customer service is terrible. My seat pad came torn on delivery. It took Yukon approximately 3 months to ship out the replacement. After a month and a half their policy seemed to be deception, and they kept telling me the seat would be delivered "next week," 4 weeks in a row.One service rep stated that the seat replacement is in so much demand that is in constant back-order. That is a red flag in itself.I recommend that if you do purchase this equipment you also buy some duct tape and thoroughly wrap it around the seat cushion and the base of the seat cushion. It should give the seat enough support so that it doesn't end up separating.

"Machine is cheaply made cosmetically but gauge of the steal is fairly decent. The pad is barely stapled on to the flimsy particle board and it's very narrow for anyone who has a bigger body they may want to consider another option due to the fact its hard to stabilize because of its narrow pad surface. It was however shipped promptly and with all parts."

Fantastic!

Hard to describe but it just take your telecaster to the next level. Louder and clearer are the main benefits but also have less buzz. With a clean sound you can really the notes and harmonics ring and with a distorted sound (which includes everything from blues crunch to modern metal stuff for me) stuff just sounds bigger and badder.I would recommend these for anyone who wants to costs effectively upgrade their telecaster.

Great upgrade

I bought a cheap thinline squire Tele. It played great and looked good, but sounded like crap. Since I liked the feel of it, I decided to buy it ($300.00) and save up for pickup upgrades. I saw these for $150.00 and bought them. 2 day shipping with prime, installed, and this cheap Tele sounds great! Has the nice tele "pop" in the middle position, very nice warmth on the neck pickup (I think it's warmer than a stock american), and the bridge pickup is pretty hot. Not as twangy as other teles, though, but ok with me. I prefer the percussive "pop" over the shrill twang. Very good buy.

Fender & Lace what more can be said

This is the second set of Lace pickups I own. They are great sounding and have that "twang" which is loved on the Telecaster (Fender) Guitar. Plenty of punch and sound these are terrific pickups. Easy to install and very well made. Combine with your Fender Telecaster or similar guitar, you will have hours of playing fun and performances will be top knotch. (the magic in the guitar is the player!)Enjoy.

Everything except SACD

Ever since I discovered this player in the summer of 2005, I have been highly impressed with how much it met both my normal and oddball demands. As a student of Musical Theatre, Opera, Classical vocal and choral literature, and Jazz and Classical piano, DVD-AUDIO capability is of great importance to me because there are a lot of titles especially in the Classical genre available in this format. One thing that sets this player apart from the other manufacturers' players is Yamaha's CD UpSampling feature. For those titles which are currently only available on CD and possibly will never be released on DVD-AUDIO and/or SACD, this option converts standard CDs to the quality of DVD-AUDIO. On the Musical Theatre, Opera, and choral side of things, this player is capable of playing both NTSC (North American) and PAL (European) DVDs on corresponding as well as opposite TVs. For certain titles in these genres, the North American editions are either four percent slower in tempo and picture movement and flatter in pitch than the European editions due to the method of PAL-to-NTSC conversion used by the distributors of such DVDs, or do not include as many bonus features as their original European counterparts. Sometimes, it can be the other way around, except the European editions might be four percent faster and sharper and have less bonus material than their original North American counterparts. On both ends of the spectrum, if the audio pitch is corrected without changing the audio speed to keep the picture and sound in synch, a subaudible breaking-up effect may be noticed as the result of slight artifacts from slightly bending or stretching the pitch in the conversion process. However, because of this player's bicompatibility with both color systems, I have the freedom to choose and purchase whatever editions are the best. Although it is not in the manual, this player can be made multi-region compatible including RCE DVDs. Turn on the DVD player. Make sure there are no discs loaded. With the tray open, using its supplied remote control, slowly press 99990. Wait for the 'Region 0' message to disappear. Close the tray. In conclusion, if you are looking for a DVD player with wide compatibility, you have come to the right place!

My husband brought this for me and to be honest I didn't think it looked too impressive. But to please him I let him shave me completely and slipped this on for a night out. I must say just walking from the car the pearls began to run over my clit. As I became moist they slipped more easily with every step sending the most wonderful sensations through my body. By the time we'd sat down to eat I was already incredibly turned on and had some very very wet pearls. I couldn't help slipping my hand between my legs at the table and giving the pearls a gentle tug or too. The waiter did seem surprised when we left and paid half way through our meal. But I was hungry for alot more than food and I managed to fill up on protein in the parking lot quite nicely. Yum yum

Great stuff

This was shipped VERY fast, thank you for that. It works great in my older laptop,,,,,,, but the DELL I bought it for,,,,,,,,,,, it will not work in because of the port you put it in. DELL just has to be different doesnt it??????????
