Dreamy

These pickups sound like a dream. I replaced the stock pickups from my old Gibson SG Special with these and I'm so glad I did. I got bored of the same ol' SG tone that did not have enough life in it. These pickups really sing, there really is no comparison. The above reviewer said that it did not come with a diagram, mine did and it was very easy, I've included a link if anyone needs it.[...]

Pros: everything the manufacture said about this pick up... is trueCons: not really a down side but Lace Brand name on the pickups is just not necessaryI have gone through quite a number of bridge pickups even my Luther was tired of getting my money. I have a firebird pickup in the neck of a semi-hollow body guitar and wasn't happy with a number of pickups to compliment it. Since it is not a true humbucker and much warmer for a single-coil partner in the bridge (not to mention the no-pole look of the designs) I just happen to come across this. Not afraid to try something new with barium ferrite magnets I had them installed. It was a wonder when they lived up to their description. You can go from humbucker thick tone to twangy single coil with your pick attack alone. The one thing I don't like about Lace is that he puts the name brand on the pickup so I peeled it off. I was one of the last piece to complete my upgraded guitar and it's being years now and I can't say I have any complaints. It is so good and fits so well I completely forgot how the others sounded like.

I recently helped a friend install one of these into a Tele-copy. I was completely amazed at the bell tones that came out of this humbucker!! Volume on 10, bell tone with all the overdrive you could want. Volume on 8, the sound completely cleans up without losing any bell tone. I am hoping to get one and tap it... I can only imagine what the pickup sounds like running in single mode.
