good reviews vs. bad reviews explained

I think that the reason that some people are giving this pillow bad reviews is that the description does not properly explain the feel of this pillow. This is not a HARD pillow (what most would consider firm.) It is also not quite a SOFT pillow (no resistance beneath your head.) It is a SPRINGY pillow. It could also be described as bouncy.Let me draw an analogy to shoes. A Birkenstock sandal has a firm supportive footbed--but no bounce. A cushioned slipper has a soft footbed--but still no bounce. An athletic shoe has a springy footbed. It is flexible, slightly hard, and has bounce. This pillow would be analogous to a less hard (but very springy) athletic shoe.This is my all-time favorite pillow. It does need to be aired out for a while to be rid of the latex smell. I like it much better than memory foam. With memory foam you just sink. With latex, your head is cradled like in a hammock.I think those who wrote bad reviews actually wanted a different type of pillow. This is an excellent pillow--you just need to know what you are getting. When it comes to firmness, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being soft and 10 being hard, this pillow is a 3. For springiness, on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being flaccid and 10 being a balloon or a super bouncy ball, this pillow is about a 7. The manufacturer just needs a better writer to describe their product.

Not for me, It's like sleeping on a balloon

I didn't like how it felt and it was a bit weird to sleep on. Almost like sleeping on a balloon. From all of the great reviews I was expecting something much better. I can't say this is a bad pillow due to the fact it does offer good support but being a smaller person, this pillow just felt too big and pushy. I guess latex pillows just aren't for me. I wanted everyone to understand what it means when people say this pillow is springy so I hope this helps. You never know until you sleep on one whether or not you'll like it. I also want to note this pillow is larger than a standard queen size pillow. It was 4 inches larger than my other pillow and barely fit into the pillow cases.

The most wonderful pillow ever!

I've been looking for a foam pillow, remembering as a teen I had one and loved it. I never can find a good pillow--my neck hurts, my TMJ would get worse, or my ears would be sore. I have had a very hard time finding a good one, and was thrilled when I found this on amazon. Latex foam pillows are far superior in comfort to the popular "memory foam," which I think is so uncomfortable--I mean, it smooshes down and stays there--how is that support? Latex foam, on the other hand, is light, but so supportive. It's springy--it's gently lifting you up. Anyway, I've had it for about a week and slept better than I have in years. I absolutely love it! Also, I can't believe how fast I got it. When I ordered it it was out of stock, and I chose free shipping. Had it in a few days. Wow! Thanks Amazon. (PS The latex smells a little funny at first, but the smell was completely gone within a few days.)

Who's your Angel?

This is hands down my favorite angel. Her wings are opened nicely and she has her golden trumpet. If you can only afford to buy one angel, this should be the one you get. However, you cannot beat the deal on all three Lenox China Jewels Nativity Angels, 3 Pc (Praying, Kneeling, Angel). Basically it is buy two, get one free. Also they're all in one box so they take up less room when they are not out (unless you're one of those year round nativity folk).

Best Trash Can EVER!

I hate to say it, but we produce a lot of trash. We've always been slightly mortified by our piles of garbage sitting by the curb when our neighbors have one or two cute little bags out. To make matters worse, we are very hard on our garbage cans. If there are any mechanical components, we break them in a matter of weeks or months or the trash bag tends to rip everytime you take it out of the trash can. Anyway, a small under the sink trash container just wasn't going to work for us nor anything with a flip top lid or other fancy mechanism that is apt to break or tear our trash bag. This can has been fantastic. In fact, my husband and I continue to comment on how much we actually love a trash can.Pros:Holds a ton of garbage. No wimpy white trash bags for us. We use the black trash bags now. Don't have to take out the garbage for 2-3 days at most.Almost no fingerprints even with a 4 year old and a 1 year old. Looks good all the time. Not easily dented either.Large opening that allows you to dump anything and everything with ease. No cramming here. No gunk on the lid problem either.No mechanical parts to break over time. This trash can should last you for a very long time.Easy to remove trash bags. Even full ones that are tightly packed.Looks great.Cons:Expensive, but after buying a trash can every year, this one should save us money in the end. We bought ours for about $30 bucks less on another website, but after it took two weeks to get to us, I wish I had bought it from Amazon instead and got it right away.

other trash cans are trash

This can has it all: it's big, it looks really nice, and it has no flaps or moving parts to break or get dirtyLooks great in the kitchen and you just drop trash down the hole. No muss or fuss. I've never liked the foot pedals or swinging lid doors. The lids just seem to get all dirty or get in the way when you want to scrape a plate or empty the dustpan.As far as trash cans go, this is about the nicest looking simple can you'll find.The one negative is that it's a little pricey. But I got over that since it's real metal and not cheap plastic. It should outlive plastic cans that break and crack, so maybe it'll make up for the cost.Never thought I'd post a review of a garbage can. Did you ever imagine you'd be reading a review of a garbage can?

Shoe runs small and narrow

My son is eight and has been wearing Sperry shoes for years. This shoe looks very nice however it runs small and narrow. The first pair I bought was a 1 1/2 M and was so narrow my son could not get his foot in the shoe; the second pair I ordered in wide and they are still too small. He has a new pair of topsiders in the same size and they fit great. After sending back two pair I am not sure if I will order again, especially since I have to pay to return them and it is not possible to make an exchange.

Finally! High-Quality Dress Shoes

I was so sad when my son outgrew these shoes. They look great with a suit, or khakis, and they stood up to the "boy-wear" test. My son wore them at least three times a week for months, and they looked so good when he was done that I was able to consign them. I hope to buy him another pair.

Allright but ran too small

Loafer looks wonderful. If only it wasn't running so small. My son's current shoe is size 12, so I ordered 12's because we have a wedding coming up. They were way too small, but then I noticed I inadvertantly got 12 Narrow. My bad. As a Prime member I exchanged with no hassle at all. This time I got size 12.5 in normal width. I figured that it was the narrow-ness causing the issue, but went up half-size just in case. 12.5's are also way too small. Shipping back, but website says I can't exchange, only return. And I still need a shoe for a wedding next week! Oh well, Amazon, I tried. Now I hvae to ,gasp, set foot in a real shoe store. Ugh.

Good guitar

for the price, this guitar is the shiz. im 17 and play rhythm in a band. Unplugged, the guitar doesnt have that big dreadnought sound, but it still sounds good. Plugged in, it sounds great. The strings it comes with (it comes out of tune btw) arent the best but will do. You can always buy new ones for 6 bucks. Also, while playing, the neck is a tad thick and the action a tad high. Although you can't change the neck, you can lower the action because of its adjustable truss rod (it comes with the tool to do it too). The finish is siiiiiick and i could stare at it all day. I'd give it a 4 out of 5 because it may not be the best guitar out there, but it looks and sounds better than it should for this price. It's a steal- a case, stand, and the guitar for less the 200 bucks? awesome!!
