My 2nd rollator like this!

I loved my last rollator almost identical to this. Used it for several years and completely wore it out hauling all my heavy groceries from my car into the house. I was hesitant to part with it because it had been such a big help, but my son insisted on getting me a new one. This one has improved handles and for whatever reason navigates better and turns around easier. Do not expect 8" wheels however, they are between 6 & 7 "'s, but are durable appearing (my last rollator did not have 8" wheels either although it was also advertised to have them).

A trailrider's opinion

Best, most comfortable stirrups I've ever used. The outside of my feet were starting to hurt, pressed against the metal stirrups I'd been using with my Bates Australian Stock saddle. The leather is more red than shown in your picture, so they match my saddle's color perfectly. The stirrup bottoms grip my boots, give me a little bounce getting up on my horse.

Beautiful walker

I bought this for my mother after she had a stroke and could no longer walk without support. Everywhere we go people comment on her beautiful walker and want to know where we got it. We are very happy with the ease of folding the walker and putting it in the backseat of the car - it is as light as air but very sturdy. I would definitely recommend this walker.

Superb sandal. Needs more widths!

Like most Mephisto footwear, the Sam Sandal is a superb piece of footwear for daily wear. I haven't worn closed shoes in 30 years, and when I did, I wore Mephisto Matchs.I have arthritis in my knees and when my orthopedic doctor x-ray'd my knees he told me that they were in remarkably good shape for a fat guy. :) I firmly believe it's because of the famous Mephisto foot bed.The only complaint I have is that they are only available here in Medium width. That is a bit narrow for me. Luckily the uppers are completely natural leather so they will stretch out to fit my foot after a while. I'd rather they fit to start with.

A little disappointed

Always wanted a pair of Mephistos, but was put off by price. Amazon price very good. The quality is good, and they are comfortable. The disappointment is their sizing is off, just like BIRKENSTOCK, and the arch support is not as good as OLUKAI, Chacos, or BIRKENSTOCK.

Almost A Regret?

I took on the project of building my new shop. I've made numerous purchases and saw the Irwin Cobalt drill bits. It was as close to an impulse purchase as I've made, and I quickly regretted my decision as the set was pretty expensive. I figured that when they came in if I didn't like them I could return them.Well they came in and I was very impressed with the quality and sharpness of the bits. This is by far the BEST set of bits I have ever owned.If you compare the costs of 'throw-away' drill bits, and then figure the frustration of having busted small bits...then look no further than this Irwin set.It is worth it.

cutting edge

Got these bits a couple of weeks ago to replace a 20+ year old Craftsman set. The first thing I noticed was the heft of the assortment; same number of bits as the Craftsman, but considerably heavier. Have mainly used a couple of the larger ones on a cast iron grill; they chewed through like it was pine. Have used some of the smaller bits to drill out rusted bolts. You only need to watch the metal filings pile up to know they're doing their job. Haven't used any on wood; seems like overkill and my older ones do fine for those. I only wish the storage box had a more positive lock mechanism. But I do like its bright size markings (sure beats stamped metal, which I can never read in weak light). All in all, I'm very pleased, and the price was GREAT!.

Cobalt drills rule!

I know Cobalt (both M-35 and M-42) are way more expensive than regular HSS drills, but if you've got exotic metals or steel to drill it's like night and day. I wouldn't go back to HSS except for wood and maybe aluminum after this!

Can't wait to wear

I purchased these boots about a month ago 8/1/12. When I took them from the box they were gorgeous better than the picture. They smell like a brand new leather car!!!!! I am delighted with my cowboy boots! The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because I haven't worn them yet but I did strut around the house in them and they feel comfortable. The real is being in them all day!

quick and easy

I purchased this product at a local hardware store. I've had a slow running drain for 2 or more years, I've used what seems like every product ever made. Each product has had little to no effect. I was hesitant in thinking this product would do any good. I followed the directions exactly pouring the recommended 2 cups of product down my stubborn drain. I waited longer than the 10 minutes stated perhaps about and hour. I then ran water for several minutes, the sink was draining much better but the drain clearly still had some block. I poured another cup full down the drain before calling it a night. The next morning I turned the sink on full blast, alas draining correctly. Just to be sure I stoppered the sink, filled it part way then unstoppered while the water was still running. To my amazement clear drain! I only gave 4 stars because I had to repeat the process, if it had worked the first try I would have given a full 5 stars.

Shoes arrived quickly. Very happy with the color and look. Find the shoes a bit larger from the size 9 I usually wear with comfort. However I wear inserts and this works. They are warm so probably not suitable for summer. Hoping they will be fully broken in soon.

Thule 847 Outrigger: An Extra Hand

I bought two of these, one for each side of my Honda van, with one going into the front crossbar and the other going into the back. I carry two kayaks with a Swiss Cargo double kayak carrier attached to Thule crossbars. I got these so I wouldn't have as much trouble lifting the kayaks in place, but since I am a not-so-strong woman, I'm still not really comfortable doing it alone yet, although it does make it much easier. It's also less likely that the kayak will mark up the car above the window area, which had happened previously while loading. It really is like having another hand available to support the weight, which is a big help. I will say that I've noticed that when a guy is lifting it on, they don't want to use them, but when my girlfriends and I are lifting them, we appreciate the support these provide. They don't feel super strong, but then they have never bent or dropped the kayak, either. What I really wish I could get is the Thule Hullavator, but I can't justify spending that kind of money right now. If I eventually get a tandem kayak, which would be heavier, I would probably need that to lift it up alone. Overall, I'm glad I purchased these as they do provide extra support when lifting.

Not perfect, but worth the money

I bought this one together with the Swagman Yakart Kayak Cart, and they work together well at a reasonable price. See my separate review for the cart.When I first bought the Kayak, they helped me load it on my minivan. Once we got home, my wife and I had quite some trouble to get it down and inside. I was wondering whether I could ever get it on the water. The cart and outrigger took care of the problem.The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that, it is sort of weak. I wouldn't use it alone to load my 75lb Hobie Odyssey. I cut a wood rod of 1.5x2, at the length from the Outrigger to the ground. Before I use the outrigger, I pull it out and tie the wood rod to the outer end, to give it the extra support. In addition to the strength (or lack of), I think it has a design flaw, that putting too much weight on the extended outrigger can cause problem for your roofrack as well.

Thule Outrigger

My wife belongs to a ladies group called the Adventurous Woman, so she'll need to be able to load the kayak without my help. She has practiced with the Outrigger a couple of times and is able to load and unload her kayak all by herself (she's 5'4" and she loads it on an SUV). The only reason I did not give this a 5-star rating is because I feel the end could be a little more substantial to give more confidence in keeping the kayak from falling, but it works.

Mephistos are comfortable

My feet are wide, relatively flat, and I require a soft shoe to be comfortable. This is my second pair of these specific shoes; the first lasted several years of almost daily wear, through a resoling, and are still worn when scuffs are not important. The price of Mephisto shoes always causes a sharp intake of breath but then you slip them on and the comfort is suddenly worth every penny of the price.

These are great shoes!

I love Mephisto shoes - and these are no exception - comfortable right out of the box. They do run large, like the description says, so go at least a half size smaller. These shoes are a nice hydrid - casual enough for wearing around town in jeans, but dressy enough to wear with a jacket and tie to dinner. Love them!

I teach all day and Im on my feet these shoes go well with tan pants or blue jeans. With out changing on the way home I can stop in at the local golf club for a meeting and still have the same "smart" look while being casual.

King of Drain Cleaners

Liquid Fire is the best drain cleaning item out there. I have been buying this for over five years, and if your drain is clogged with paper or hair or anything of that nature, it will clean it. I work for a large home improvement store and hope we get this soon... it is great. Totally worth the price and only takes a very small amount to unclog most drains.

function not fashion

As someone who stands or walks much of the day, these are lifesavers. They are more comfortable than even running shoes and, while they are not stylish, they are appropriate for any office. This is my 2nd pair of this same shoe. I have had my brown pair refurbished twice and will finally have to replace them, so the price spreads out over a period of years. The multiple eyelets can accommodate thicker socks if necessary also. Lastly, these are my favorite shoes for travel.

As I aged, my feet lost their natural padding. I had tried orthopedic shoes, insert and you name it. Then I discovered the Mephisto Match. They may appear to be expensive, but their quality, fit and comfort are worth every penny.

This will be short and sweet. I've been buying Mephisto shoes for 20 years. In my opinion they are the most comfortable shoes one can purchase. Although they are quite expensive relative to most shoes, their fit and comfort makes them worth the price.
