Economical airbrush

I like the Aztek for its double action, ease of cleaning and replaceable tips. The price is highly variable, so do shop around. I wish it were possible to just buy a replacement handle as these do wear out regularly. I bought this unit for that purpose multiple times.You might get longer life if you do not leave solvent in the handle or soak it in cleaner as I have done in ignorance. The rubber seals can be attacked and when they are damaged the airflow valve will leak.Aztek (Testors) will repair a damaged handle but will not quote a price to do so, so I suspect it is cheaper to just buy a new set like this one. It is a "throw-away" airbrush.I have done extensive painting of model trains and accessories using the Aztek. It would be five stars if the handles could be serviced or replaced more easily.

Great air compressor

This is a great air compressor that works very well. I'm glad it has a storage tank and auto shut off. There has to be a small air leak somewhere though as it occasionally turns on even when no hoses are attached. Not a big deal though as it is very infrequent and can be turned off if not being used for long periods of time.It is relatively quiet and while not silent, you can't hear it in the next room if the door is shut. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Watch for items that arrive broken

I ordered two of these, and both came damaged. The boxes were in perfect condition and were packed well so I didn't open each box until I was ready to install them and found one of them had the support bracket completely snapped in half and the other one had cracks. I'd already applied a pricey UV/rock shield to the cracked one so I reinforced it with epoxy and used it, but had to send the other one back.The damage on the one I went back especially was so significant there was NO WAY the box would look as perfect as it did and still have broken it in transit. I suspect some workers at the TYC plant wanted to make quota in a hurry so they tossed parts that failed QA into boxes and shipped them out as good items.Buyer beware and open all the boxes as soon as you get them, or better yet, buy another brand.Amazon was EXCELLENT about taking the items back, even though it was beyond the 90 day window. That's the only reason this gets 3 stars instead of one because Amazon customer service went out of their way to make the experience less painful, which I very much appreciated.

Perfect fit and great function

A friend told me I paid too much but he buys his parts used, at junk yards. This product is a bit more expensive than used stuff at a junk yard but it's a perfect match to OEM and comes with bulbs and pigtail with connector. The only problem I had with it was the connector didn't want to click into the one in my trunk but I don't know if that is a bad connector or I did something wrong. It stays connected, but it doesn't click so I'm not sure it will stay forever. It's nice to get a complete, plug and play part that required only moving a metal trim piece from the old light to the new one, then putting in the light and screwing it down.
