took longer to ship than indicated

The product is perfectly fine. The issue is it took quite a bit longer to arrive than was estimated. Luckily I could track it as it moved across the U.S. so I knew it was "in transit". This delay is probably the carrier's fault, not the seller's.

Excellent for large incisions - waterproof, easy to apply and remove

This worked great for my hip replacement, although the incision on one side was a little larger. (You can extend the size of the absorbent area with a little gauze and tape if necessary, but you lose the waterproof seal.)This was MUCH BETTER than the tons of tape and gauze the hospital used, and much less painful to remove! I bit more expensive, but worth it.

KidSmart is Parent Smart Too

I wasn't looking for talking smoke alarms when I found this one at Target. The package indicated that the effective rate was near perfect for smaller children, so I decided to try it.First off, you'll notice the unit is heavier compared to regular detectors. It contains a very high quality speaker with a large magnet in order to produce the volume required to wake your child up. After listening to my recorded voice I was suprised at the clarity and quality. I returned to the recording mode and recorded my message at a shouting level. The Kidsmart repeated me perfectly, only twice as loud as I shouted .Recording is simple. It requires 4 AA batteries (Included with the machine), instead of 9 volts. If you have kids, most of their toys run on AA's, so replacements are more readily available for me. Personally I only needed 9V for the Smoke detectors, so I no longer have to keep them on hand.Immediatly, I can see a difference compared to older "tone" type machines:The old machine is loud, my kids would put their hands over their ears fiegn pain and complain that it is too loud. This makes me wonder if they would just pull sheets/pillows up over their heads when awakened in the middle of the night.However, with the KidSmart I already see the "Fun Factor". it grants permission to do something fun; "Get out of bed", "Go downstairs" and "Go to the next door nieghbors house". When I test the machine, they mimic it and say "I should go over to Shannon's house, right?", followed by a very happy "Alright". When my son has friends over, he points out "It talks", "It tells me to go next door", etc.I believe the constaint reinforcement of what to do in an emergency will make a difference when the time comes. I dont even have to tell them, I just hit the test button and they "Fire Drill" themselves.These units typically go for $60-70. But they can be had for about $35, if you shop it around some.

This is the best smoke alarm in the market

I first saw the Vocal Smoke alarm on an NBC nightly new report, which reported the effectiveness of smoke alarms. It was interesting to me that the kids on the program did not wake up with a standard alarm. After that report, I was determined to find the Signal One smoke alarm. I purchased a few at Target and was very happy with how easy it was to record the voice. This is one of my best buys to protect my family. I'm very pleased and would give it 10 stars if I could.

great idea, doesn't seem to work

I invested a lot of time in recording the message within the allotted time but when I tested it it only played the first second and some beeps. As far as I can tell it doesn't work the way it's supposed to. Then I noticed that although I just bought it (2013) the date on it was 2005-made in China. I think it's a great idea, but when I ordered I expected one that was recently made and that works. I gave it 2 stars because I do think it's a great idea.

Superb Variety of Biscuits in Different Shapes and Textures Perfect for Picnics

The best news about the availability of Carr's Assorted Biscuits for Cheese on Amazon is that they were delivered to me without damage. I have been a fan of their crackers for years, and the nine types available in this selection do not disappoint. The types are the square Cream Cracker, the thick and circular Digestive, the light Small Table Water, the cookie-like Small Wheatmeal, the heavily textured Oyster Cracker, the large Cornish Wafer, the Oblong Water, the small disc-like Bran Carlton and the traditional Choice Grain.There isn't a loser in the bunch and you get several of each kind. There are even helpful pictures of recommended toppings on the box, though if you're lazy like me, you'll get a good wedge of brie and smear it on all of them. They are not the most nutritional of appetizers as the recommended portion of three crackers has 80 calories, of which 25 are fat, and 95 mg of sodium. But luckily the individual boxes are relatively small, so binging can be appropriately curbed. They are perfect for a picnic setting where you don't want to fumble around with noisy chips.

I Like these!

I have to say that I really like this product. Inside your box you will find a nine different biscuits, or crackers as I would call them. I popped one in my mouth when I first opened the box without anything on it and they were fresh and delicious. Although it says, 'for cheese,' don't feel you can't put other things on them. Grab some ham, or have them with your favorite soup. These are some nice biscuits that you will find many uses for and you will enjoy eating. I recommend this product. Very good.

The Classic Biscuit Assortment

Carr's states on the box that these biscuits are "The Perfect Complement to Cheese," but of course, they're good for so much more...from peanut butter and jelly on the Bran Carlton biscuit, to caviar on the Small Table Water biscuit! The box also has some nice cheese serving suggestions, like cucumber slice, sour cream, and shrimp on the Oyster Cracker.My favorite is the Digestive biscuit, because I really like the wheatmeal texture and flavor, and also because it reminds me of my English Mum. It was always traditional in her day to wake up to a hot cup of tea and a digestive biscuit, and it certainly is a delightful way to start the day.Carr's Biscuits are the real deal, made in England, and with no "funny stuff" like EDTA in them. Get a couple of boxes of Carr's Assorted Biscuits for Cheese, some Cheshire, Stilton and Cheddar cheeses, warm up some beer, and make your next party an English pub party!

Excellent vegetarian burger

Don't think of this as tasting like hamburger. Just think of it as tasting good. We love this product - and this is really a very good price considering that it ships for free. One can is approximately the same quantity as 1 lb. of ground beef.Some examples of what we do with this product:hash:saute small cubes of potato & chopped onions, add burger, break up lumps, & brown all together; add a couple of shakes of (optional) Angostura Worcestershire sauce [no anchovies in that brand], & serve with eggs for breakfast or veggies for dinner; even buttermilk ranch dressing is good on this.stir fry:brown burger & set aside, stir-fry onions, celery, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, snow peas, bean sprouts, mushrooms, radish slices, and/or water chestnuts (or whatever combination of veggies you like) as you would for any stir fry; add burger to reheat & serve with Ramen noodles or other pasta, on bread, or just as is, with soy sauce or Angustura Worcestershire sauce. Buttermilk ranch dressing is good here, too.burgers:to each can of burger, add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 rib of finely chopped celery, 1/4 C. chopped green pepper (optional), 2 eggs, 1/2 C. cracker crumbs, 1/2 C. oatmeal; form into patties & brown over moderate heat [onions & celery must be done & raw eggs thoroughly cooked]; when crispy on both sides & done inside (about 7 min. per side), serve on buns, rolls, bread, or plate with mayo, ketchup, onions, pickles, tomato, sprouts, or other burger fixin's.casseroles:1 can burger browned with onions & celery, 1 tsp. sage, 1 can mushroom soup, 1/2 soup can milk, 6-8 oz. noodles (cooked), 16 oz. shredded cheddar cheese, 8 oz. Excellent Product!

We use this Worthington Vegetarian Burger for so many different meals. We make tacos, meatloaf, meatballs, sloppy joe and many other things that call for ground beef. The price on Amazon is an AWESOME deal for 12 cans. I hope they will continue to stock this item because from now on we'll be buying it online instead of the health food store. We also enjoy the Worthington Chili very much and will be purchasing it from Amazon next time. These products are an excellent substitute for meat. Can't say enough about them!

Tastiest Veg Sausage i have had!

I am so glad i bought a case of these! These veg sausages have now become my tastiest and favorite veg meat alternative.Unlike the other worthington offerings i have tried which dont really taste like the real meat comparison, these delicious veggie sauseges VERY CLOSELY taste like the real thing.They have a great smokey flavor and just the right amount of mild spicey seasoning.I suggest NOT to microwave..these definitly need to be pan fried and you will be pleased with the taste and texture of these delicious links.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Perfect for veggie hot dogs

These work well grilled as sausages in scant oil, roasted over coals or campfire, cut up and put into many recipes. They can be made into good corn dogs too. I think they are the best canned veggie dog with Worthington Super Links in second place. The liquid the sausages are packed in makes good stock for soup or gravy.
