Not just for Bimmers

If you have a 6 speed (NSG370) TJ or JK Wrangler, you should switch to this as soon as possible. You will get smoother shifting, and less metal shavings (wear) stuck to the magnetic drain plug. Been running this in my Wrangler for 30,000 miles now. It's as easy as an oil change. You need 14mm and 17mm hex sockets. One is for the drain plug and one is for the fill plug. You can squirt it in the tranny using the bottle. When it starts oozing out of the fill hole, you can put the plug back in. You'll need 2 bottles (1.6 liters).Don't forget to also change your diff fluid regularly (every 2-4 oil changes). If you're lazy you can just pump the old fluid out, but I recommend taking the diff cover off and doing a thorough cleaning with some brake cleaner, towel, etc. To do that you need four liters of Mobile 1 75w90. Remove the diff cover bolts, then hit it with a soft hammer (rubber/plastic) until it falls off. Use a razor to scrape the old gasket material off of the diff and diff cover. Be careful not to scrap the metal. Clean everything well with some brake cleaner. Squirt a nice bead of black gasket maker around the diff cover, then reinstall it. Tighten in a star pattern to get a uniform seating. Don't overtighten it. Allow it to dry, then fill it just like you did with the tranny. You might need a small pump though if your Jeep isn't lifted enough.

I never thought that changing the manual transmission oil in my BMW 330i to synchromax would make any difference. Unbelievable difference in the smoothness of shifting! I will definitely use more of their products in the future!

RP synchromax rocks! better than redline

I have used redline in my M3's transmission for few months, but there was a major difference in shifting after replacing transmission fluid with RP synchromax. Gears are alot smoother and easier to shift even with a short shifter. I will try other RP products in the future for sure.

Great bit

I run rodeo and this bit works out great. Its an awesome curb bit with just enough leverage to get my mare around the barrel quick. Please make sure you are using it correctly! If you intend to use this bit for gaming (i.e. sharp turns) you need to have experienced, honest, hands. If you pull out, the other side of the but will pull on the horses mouth causing the horse to awkwardly bend his or here head sideways. Direct reign is necessary, a horse that has an understanding of neck reigning will thrive with this bit.

Stainless Steel 3-Ring Combination Bit - 6" Shank with Sweet Iron Low Port Comfort Snaffle (MB 04) Copper Inlay Mouth. This mouthpiece is made of polished Sweet Iron which naturally oxidizes. How it works: the 3-ring combination bit uses five different pressure points to disperse rein pressure. The noseband and chin strap are connected through the purchase; when the reins are engaged, the horse first feels the nose, chin and poll pressure before he feels the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece can slide 1" before reaching the stop, where it will engage. The overall effect is to give the horse several opportunities to respond to the rider’s rein signals, plus disperse the rein pressure over multiple pressure points rather than just the tongue or bars. Select the rein position most suitable for your hands. About the mouthpiece: the 04 mouthpiece is similar to the 02 in that it will rotate on the tongue and apply tongue pressure; however, it has a slight (¼") port that allows the horse to swallow when he is moving forward, relaxed. This port introduces some tongue relief to the horse. The bars of the bit are curved so the bit wraps the bars and lips of the horse’s mouth instead of pinching them when it rotates on to the tongue it. The curve makes more room for the horse’s tongue under the bit. The barrel in the center is the same width as the center piece on a traditional three-piece mouthpiece so applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue. The 04 provides an excellent transition from Level One to Level Two. It’s similar to the 02, but with a ¼" port that introduces tongue relief. Suitable for a wide range of horses: green horses, experienced horses entering the Myler System, horses that have been ridden exclusively in a single-jointed mouthpiece, or re-schooling horses that have not been ridden for a while. Also an excellent schooling bit for horses competing in dressage.

beautiful tiny earrings

These high quality well made earrings are smaller than a dime. The stones continue on the bottom of the earrings, but there are not stones inside the back (in other words they are not an inside/out design). Instead there is a nice scroll design on the backside of the loop.I'm very pleased with my purchase. I do wish they were larger or that amazon offered the same earring in a larger hoop size.

Walmart, Giant and Safeway for some reason do not sell this product anymore. This onion powder adds an extra flavor to food because it contains other herbs and spices. Perfect budget-friendly for whatever your needs are

Let's say that you -like me - have a blog and you post some very interesting info on gadgets. Let's assume that you bought (like me) a cool screen flow capture software like ScreenFlow but you are a bit disappointed by the audio your computer records via its built-in microphone. Let's also assume that you have a cool high definition camcorder like the Canon VIXIA HFS10 and you would like to enhance the audio recording capabilities via an external mic. And, finally, let's say you have only 200 bucks left after holiday season for any additional gadget you might want to buy until Father's Day. And you heard that shotgun condenser microphones would match all your expectations but they are expensive. Do you have a problem with this or not ?Actually, no, you don't. Here enters the Audio Technica AT875 - the perfect match for your requirements.I was in a similar dilemma one month ago until I ran into some review pages on the net and comparisons with much more expensive condenser microphones like the Neumanns, Sankens, Schoeps or Sennheisers. The AT875 kept extremely well with all these professional-grade condenser microphones. And it costs under 200 dollars !The AT875 is a pro-grade shotgun condenser microphone, compact (only 7 inches), very well built. It is a short shotgun condenser microphone that exhibits the sound quality and performance of larger, higher-priced shotgun microphones. If you google it you might run into some interesting audio samples on the net, or you might follow my blog link (see my profile) to listen some samples made by me. Since it is a short microphone, stays out of the frame when mounted on a camcorder, and has an incredible off-axis noise rejection. This is especially useful if you record in a room that has echo - you will be amazed that the mic does not capture the echo and the sound of the recording is pretty similar to anechoic recordings. Also because of its rather small dimension does not protrude "in your eyes" if you use it on a desk, for various blogging or video blogging needs.It has a smooth, and very natural audio reproduction with excellent detail capture. Lacks a bit of bass punch, but this is due to being tailored for a low frequency response that removes unwanted low frequency noise - a built-in "bass rolloff" that you cannot disable. You can always boost (+2 or +3dB) the bass in post prod so, from my point of view, this is not an issue. From this point of view I find the sound very natural and you can easily position the mic at one foot away (on a desk, I mean) and have a perfect recording of your voice.The only downsize of the mic is that it requires phantom power to operate. 11 to 52V phantom power will do. Also, you will have to buy a XLR cable because the mic has a standard XLR output. This might increase your expenses once you realize that you need an XLR interface with your computer. For my desk-based recording needs I have an E-MU 0404 USB 2.0 Recording Interface for Mac that provides phantom power for microphones, with two inputs for mic/ Hi-Z with separate preamps.For use with a camcorder, the AT875R integrates seamlessly with some of the smaller professional cameras. If your camera does not have XLR inputs, you might consider an universal microphone adapter for XLR. Something like the budget Beachtek DX-A2S Dual XLR Compact Audio Adapter (ok for all camcorders) will do the trick (I use it with my HFS10. Please remember that this is a MONOPHONIC microphone. You need two to get stereo recordings, or you may mix down on both output channels.The AT875R is probably the best bang for the buck that you might run into in this category (pro condenser mini-shotgun with balanced output and phantom power). In the box you will find a pouch, a mount adapter for stands and another thread adaptor for tripod mount. A wind shield is also included. More info and pictures on my weblog.I rate this with 5 stars. It is an amazing product that does not cost too much.

Could not ask for more.

I am a freelance videographer and I got this mic to compliment my Canon XHA1. It is an awesome mic, it is super sensitive, picks up long range sounds. I just finished doing a short shot outside and the sound was very clean. I did very little post on it. I also used it for voice overs and the sound was perfect, zero noise. Great mic for a great price, I have used higher priced mics and not gotten as good of results as the 875r.

Nice Mic.

The mic. works very well with my Canon XA-10 Camcorder. Both the camcorder and my audio mixer put out phantom power so the lack of a battery is not a problem.The sound quality is very good - far superior to the built in mic. on the camcorder. The super-cardiod pickup pattern does a good job of rejecting sounds from the sides.It has a narrow shaft so it does not fit in the XA-10's built in mic. mount. It comes with a pair of O-rings to help mount it, but they aren't thick enough to keep the mic. in place without wobbling. I cut up a mouse pad and wrapped it around the mic. and it fits and works well but looks a bit ugly. It would have been nice if the mic. had come with some sort of adapter sleeve to mount it in a standard size mic. mount other than hardware store O-rings.

Not bad for 100 bucks

I was a little worried by some of the feedback on this product. One remark was that it had an awful snare sound. Once I received the Cajon, I got the same worrisome sound. I simply tightened the snare wires with the provided allen wrench and the sound turned into a good sound. It's not a masterpiece of percussion instruments; it's a somewhat inexpensive mid-quality instrument.This being my first Cajon, I didn't want to go all out on a 300/400 dollar instrument. I'm reasonably satisfied with this instrument, and I can't complain that it's not louder or more refined in sound. It's actually a good instrument for the price.

Highly Customizable Instrument for Fat, Personalized Beats

I've been casually beating on random stuff for 25 years, and have developed a sort of science of, and aptitude for, rhythm. I love taking a mundane object and turning it into an expressive drum. Almost anything works if you can find its individual talent and character. A cardboard box, a sink, a couch, a bottle, a file cabinet, and on and on. I'd been familiar with the cajon for a while, but like with other forms of percussion, I was skeptical that I'd be able to find enough character and variety in it for it to be an all-around instrument that I'd want to play often. Well, let me just say that this thing is really cool.My girlfriend bought this for me for Christmas. Originally she wanted to buy a more swanky thing from Etsy, but I told her that I only needed something basic and classic. If I can make a cardboard box do special things, then I don't need an expensive, custom-painted set-piece. So she got me this one. Mind you it's the only cajon I've ever played, but I've fallen in love with it. And I LOOOOVE rhythm.The love didn't happen immediately, however. Out of the box, the thing had an awful vibration at distinct tones - not a surprise, since the snares inside are made of stretched guitar strings. So I started messing with it. After about a half-hour of fiddling, I realized that if I loosened the two strings, using the supplied allen wrench inside the instrument, to a point where they're loose but still buzz a little, but at a tone that is too low to recognize, then it actually sounds good (bassy and fat). I actually like a little bit of artifact noise in the bass for character, but you can get rid of it altogether by loosening the strings even more. Mine are currently just above that.Then by loosening all the screws on the upper front panel a few turns, I was able to get a nice, crisp snare sound as well. I may mess with it some more, and even try "preparing" the drum in interesting ways, but for now it's a real pleasure, with great sound, and it has a way of inspiring some seriously fat, complex beats. Other improvised surfaces only have up to a few inherent rhythmic capabilities, but this is a bona-fide instrument, and totally customizable, that allows me to fully express myself. It's a joy, really.I will say I suspect it may take a little bit of experience with hand rhythm to really be able to appreciate this thing, and to personalize it to a point that it is usable and pleasurable at the same time. It is very basic, but that, along with its good sound, is its major strength, because you can make it what you want it to be. It's a street instrument, essentially, not a Steinway, and its benefits will scale with your skill and imagination. In other words, if you expect this thing to perform for you, you may be disappointed. If you know how to MAKE it perform for you, you'll be delighted.

needs to be built right to get a good sound

I've been messing around with my new cajon for a while now, trying to tune it just right, but with the particular one I received I cannot seem to get it to give enough snare sound before you start to just hearing twanging from the guitar strings.I was incredibly dissapointed after I received this specific item. I was looking forward to playing it so much, but it just couldn't give the right sounds. I looked through the hole in the back and noticed the piece of wood that helps apply tension to the strings is off kilter...and this is due to having one set of strings being much longer than the other set.I went out and played the exact same version in a Sam Ash music store and it sounded great...better than the other much more expensive models they had there. This leads me to believe that I got the short stick on the one I received. If I had received the same one that I found in the store, then this would have gotten 5 stars easy. I loved the sound of that one.

Product Description

Stainless Steel 7" Flat Shank with Sweet Iron Comfort Snaffle (MB 04) Copper Inlay Mouth. This mouthpiece is made of polished Sweet Iron which naturally oxidizes. About the mouthpiece: the 04 mouthpiece is similar to the 02 in that it will rotate on the tongue and apply tongue pressure; however, it has a slight (¼") port that allows the horse to swallow when he is moving forward, relaxed. This port introduces some tongue relief to the horse. The bars of the bit are curved so the bit wraps the bars and lips of the horse’s mouth instead of pinching them when it rotates on to the tongue it. The curve makes more room for the horse’s tongue under the bit. The barrel in the center is the same width as the center piece on a traditional three-piece mouthpiece so applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue. However, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly than the traditional centerpiece and creates the Independent Side Movement . The 04 provides an excellent transition from Level One to Level Two. It’s similar to the 02, but with a ¼" port that introduces tongue relief. Suitable for a wide range of horses: green horses, experienced horses entering the Myler System, horses that have been ridden exclusively in a single-jointed mouthpiece, or re-schooling horses that have not been ridden for a while. Amazing

From the very first ride I saw an instant change in my horse for the better. It's obvious that he loves this bit and he's super responsive to even the slightest pressure. I saw not a single head toss during my entire ride and normally there are regular head tosses. He's relaxed and happy in this bit. I would recommend this to anyone!

Perfect for Close Quarter Listening \ Headphone replacement

So far I've used the On Tour with my 8GB Sandisk Sansa - they make a perfect pair (looks too). The speakers are clear sounding, with pleasant bass and clear mid-highs (not tinny). They are used when we're traveling and based in a hotel room, and are a perfect alternative to headphones. Since they are not boom box sized, they're not going to fill a large room with sound, but for a small to mid-sized room they work just fine. I used to pack an old pair of computer speakers - these give me similar performance without the bulk.I nixed a star because the AC adapter has to be stored separately, and has that thin wire that twists up too easily. Additionally JBL should have included a pouch for the AC adapter, but I'll improvise a solution. Overall highly recommended.

Pleasantly surprised!

I ordered these speakers as one of the "Deal of the Day" items last week. I've been wanting something like this because I love listening to my ipod while I work around the house, but I can't stand having the headphones on. Try cleaning the tub with the cords dangling everywhere!So, with the price being right I ordered these speakers, fully expecting a much bigger unit. When the box arrived, I was dismayed at the packaging. It comes packed in that thick plastic that you need a strong pair of scissors and some luck from above to get open. A couple of bleeding knuckles later, and I was able to wrench it free from the packing. (thus my four star rating, rather than five. Any item that causes me to bleed automatically loses a star.)I wasn't sure if this small little unit would deliver enough sound in my house that has 14' vaulted ceilings and an open floorplan. Boy was I surprised!! This thing sounds amazing! It's light and portable enough to carry from room to room, but I don't think I'll need to! I can just leave it set up in the kitchen and hear it all over the house.I agree with others who say that it's too bad that you have to unplug the whole thing to close the lid but, like they also said, it's barely worth mentioning......barely.I'm exceptionally happy with this unit.

Great sound & truly portable!

I was looking for a set of speakers to hook up to a Sirius Stiletto home dock so that I could listen to Sirius while in my home office. I tried the Klipsch Pro-media speakers and the Bose Companion 2 (Series II) speakers. The Klipsch had no mid-range and the Bose had way to much bass resulting in a horribly muddy sound. These JBLs sound much better than either, and they are truly portable as well. I keep the AC Adapter plugged in my home office, and plug them in while I am working there. And when I head out to the backyard I take these speakers and the Stiletto with me to listen to outside.Great sound!Truly Portable!Very affordable!Thank you JBL!
