This caliper has no competitors.

This is the Rolls Royce of calipers, I used to think Lang calipers were good, but since I received this one, I realize Lang is garbage. The pinches readings are remarkably accurate and much easier then with the Lang. If you are a serious Strength Coach like myself and want quality that your clients will appreciate, there is no better then Harpenden Calipers.

Cheap but durable!

I was looking for a case that would stand up to some travel in the trunk of my sedan, and also to take to my friend's place for jams. This case is is nice, cheap, and shows no signs of breaking or wear after about 6 months. It's a great deal. The pockets are huge, the extra drawer/box thing on the side is really handy for all the spare parts and strings that rattle around. It even has a humidifier built in! If you're worried that you need to spend more on a case for your fiddle, don't. This is the right one!

A great Buy

The toys are indestructible and my 5 and 6 1/2 yr. old love playing with them...they go great with the Melissa & Doug wooden castle. I have to say the figurines and castle were the best presents at Christmas, I would recommend them and buy them again for sure.

Really pretty good for the price!

After a couple of initial setbacks, I have to say my early experience with this guitar has been pretty pleasant. Attempting to tune the bass E string resulted in it snapping at about C#. I was off to the local music store with a mutter, but was glad I went when it was obvious - even to me - that the neck tension needed adjustment by a professional. (The literature accompanying this product states that a professional set-up will be necessary and that's as right as rain.)New strings (lightweight and "edgy" by my preference) and a skillful neck adjustment - to the tune of about $30 - put the guitar into great shape.Although many might be displeased by the painted finish and lack of a pick guard, don't count me among them. The tuners are excellent and stable, the construction seems quite substantial, the action is easy on the fingers - even for someone who hasn't played for 30 years - and the sound matches my taste pretty well.I would expect that those looking for the booming sound of a dreadnaught would be disappointed, but I don't think you can beat this model for the beginner or casual player looking for a steel-strung, folk instrument. The price (even with a tune-up) seems quite reasonable considering the substantial quality.
