Thetford replacement toilet

I had this professionally installed since I cannot leave my RV at the house. It replaced our original toilet which was 11 years old. Our friends toilet had a broken spring or cable this summer and he was almost caught without a toilet while camping. His was a 5th wheel and replacement was easy. Ours is an RV trailer so the plumbing is not as easy to access. We decided we wanted a taller unit and now was the time.The clearance between the back of the toilet and the wall is very tight. I'd recommend double checking the distance before ordering this unit. As you might guess the water line had to be rerouted. That was of concern since it was hard plastic and we didn't have the tools to crimp new fittings. Also turns out that the connect was more on one side vs the old IV toilet.We have not used it yet, but it looks like just what we want. Sorry to say Amazon did not have the white available, but the bone will be OKThetford has a rebate on RV toilets;[...]Fortunately, the installer, did not throw away the box so the UPC is available.

Hey, it does the job.

Our old one stopped holding water (UGH) even after cleaning so we ordered this one from Amazon. Easy install, clean looking and it just does what it's supposed to do. What else can I say. Thanks again Thetford and Amazon. Love shopping from my recliner.Opps. Two weeks later the roller valve wouldn't close all the way allowing water to run (fill) into the black water tank. It was a wee bit over full at 3 am. Thank goodness I got up. Contacted Thetford and they were to have shipped another water valve. As of this writing, over a week later, I'm still making sure the water has stopped flowing. No water valve from Thetford. Ever wake up in the middle of the night and think you hear water running? Me too.

A dirty subject

Whoa - what do you say about a sewer line? Well, in this case plenty. This is actually my second Blueline Sewer Kit. I'm a full time RVer and do volunteer work all over the United States - so this is something that is used every day for me. I initially purchased Blueline from Camping World in 2010. I selected the Blueline product because it was heavy duty, easy to store and utilized slip fittings rather than twist fittings. I elected to continue with that when I replaced part of my initial purchase because it works well for me. I use this kit, in connection with another 10' Blueline hose and a wye connector to dump from tanks in two different places on my RV. In late 2011 or 2012 I developed a seeping leak in one of the lines. I called Camping World because I couldn't find any warrantly information on the product. I was told, "Son (I'm over 60 and retired by-the-way), there ain't no warrantly on sewer lines. You just have to replace them every year." I told the gentleman at Camping World that if he really believed that, then he should just sell the cheapest hose. When I got off the phone, I called Blueline and talked with a really nice customer service person who took my address and, without any hesitation, said they would ship a replacement at no charge. That's a really good reason for me to recommend Blueline. You can purchase this hose cheaper at some other locations; but by the time you add shipping, you're going to pay a lot more than you would at Amazon with Prime shipping. I heartily recommend this hose to help you eliminate - well you know.

Heavy Duty Drop Hitch

First - let's start with the heavy duty part. This is a SOLID hunk of steel. Not a steel tube like most mfg's. I am very confidentthat this has a 10K lb capacity!The bad part is the shaft is a bit short. if you are running a pick up this would probably work fine. Unfortunately - I was using thison a DP Motorhome. They shaft is NOT long enough to clear the bumper and I could NOT use this item. Be aware if you need somelength - this may not work for you..

Needed it for the new tow bar I installed on the rv.

Perfect for the needed drop for towing with tow system for my rv. I already had the blue ox base plate for the tow car, but need to drop four inches to keep the tow bar level. works great. And cheaper than buying it from blue ox, go figure.

Great Printer Cart

Cart is made out of laminated pressed wood. Laminate has the appearance of well finished wood. Very heavy construction. Sturdy enough to accommodate most three-in-one printers. Instructions are very brief and require some time to figure out. Requires only a phillips head screw driver to assemble. My wife commented that "A normal person could not put it togeter". The instructions suggest that two people are needed, but I easily completed it by myself. We use them with wireless printers tucked away in a corner. We have two of these and are very happy with both.

Good replacement

I bought this as a replacement for a similar one that is 11 years old and had become stained. The only downside to the installation is removing the old one. It was installed using double stick tape (as is the new one). I popped the ole one out easily enough, but it left parts of the old tape on the shower faces. It took a long time with scrappers and plenty of Goo Gone to get it off. But once that was done, installing the new one was a snap! Instructions are clear. The only critical point is aligning the button catch with the door. Take the time to make sure it's in the right place before drilling the hole. Also, you need a tube of Silicon sealant to caulk the edges after installation. Pick up one at any hardware store. Be sure to caulk all inside edges and don't forget the joints where the upright pieces meet the base. Overall, it's an easy installation, and the shower looks a lot better.

Irvine shower door

Great replacement for any shower. Ours was a RV shower with a plastic shower curtain. Water would be all over floor. The irvine door took 20 minuets to install and required one tool. This is a must replacement for any shower with a curtain. And no water escaped.
