If youre looking for a airbrush for builing models look no further.It can spray fine lines to broad patterns.It is also very comfortable to use and the bonus is the top gravity feed cup.I'll have 2 airbrushes one for clears and one for detail work.And besides its an iwata.There are to many pro's to list but 1 con:the price of replacement parts sometimes it'll be cheaper tobuy a new one!!>

Great airbrush. Not much else to say. The iwata name speaks for itself. You won't find a better easier to use airbrush than this for the price. I'm thinking about getting a couple more so I can switch back and forth between colors.

A superb macro lens

I have used Tokina lenses for several years and they have always been more than satisfactory. Tokinas are built like tanks, with solid metal alloy bodies that make Canon's top of the line L-series lenses look cheap in comparison. This makes them rather heavy, but I don't find them uncomfortable.This 100mm f/2.8 macro lens is a great value. The differences between it and the more expensive Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens (non-IS version) are minor at best; most significantly, the Tokina extends when focusing, whereas the Canon does not. At the short distances often involved in macrophotography (focusing on objects only a few inches away), extending the lens can be a minor annoyance, requiring you to pull the camera back a bit to keep the framing consistent, but you get used to it. (Competing lenses from Sigma and Tamron also extend while focusing.)I have the Tokina mounted on a Canon 5D Mark II at the moment and it's doing a great job. Auto-focus is accurate, if somewhat slow compared to Canon's macro lens, but with the AF limit enabled this disadvantage is mitigated. The images it produces are razor-sharp, with good color and contrast, whether the subject is a bug a few inches away or distant buildings.All in all, I'm happy with this lens. It's a solid, reliable product from a company with a long track record of producing high-quality lenses, and in value-for-money terms it's the best deal in its class.Update, February 2010: If you want to use this lens with a Canon MR-14EX Macro Ring Lite or Canon MT-24EX Macro Twin Lite, you will need a step-up ring. These flashes are designed to mount on the end of Canon's original 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, which takes 58mm filters rather than the 55mm filters the Tokina uses. I am using the Kenko 55mm Step-Up Ring to 58mm and I find that the MR-14EX stays in place reliably as long as nothing bumps into it. And if you want to just leave the step-up ring on the lens at all times, then you'll need to replace the Tokina's lens cap with a 58mm one to fit the step-up ring.

Great Glass

Fabulous lens! It's sharp as a tack, crystal clear and easy to use. I put on my camera right out of the box and now hardly use my other lenses. The AF limiter switch is a nice feature and the easability of going from AF to MF mode is also nice.I would recommend this lens to anyone who wants an affordable macro. Excellent alternative to the $1000 Nikon or Canon Lenses

I'm a professional photographer using Nikon gear and have some serious Nikon glass. I shoot a lot of headshots for a company and use a D700 with the Tokina 100mm and D3 with the Nikon 135mm DC. Typically, I shoot several with each camera/lens setup to get a variety of looks.In practice, the Tokina lens is the perfect lens for this use. It is sharp as anything I use. After I load all the shots into Lightroom to process them, you have to look at the shot details to know which lens you used, assuming that the image is framed the same.This lens gets a lot of play in my bag along with my usual Nikon 14-24, 24-70 and even the new 70-200 VRII.The focal length is perfect for what I need it for while using the full-frame D700 and D3.Highly recommended.

The fit of this product is good. The material used to make flares should be thicker. I have thicker flares on my Polaris Sportsman 500. I don't know but I imagine that all the flare companys have about the same thickness. They came black and have small scratches in various locations.

The Good, the Bad & the Ugly...

Review for Washburn B-9 5-string banjo. I have played guitar for eight years and wanted to try banjo. Having never owned nor played a banjo I decided to purchase this one. Here are the facts...The Good - This banjo came well packaged. It is attractive for an inexpensive banjo and carries the Washburn name. It can sound much better than the way it does straight out of the box with proper setup. It took me half an hour to fully check and adjust banjo. With the head properly tightened the banjo has a snap and crisp sound that I wanted for bluegrass sound. Most all the components are nicely fit together and the chrome pieces are very attractive. It carries a warranty from Washburn also. Tools for adjustment included as well as instructions for some basic setup. I was pleased with the sound and look of this banjo.The Bad - After two weeks of daily playing the sound that I had worked to get from this banjo would slowly be gone. Investigation led me to the bad news. The pot wouldn't stay tightened. Apparently the vibrations caused many of the 30 brackets to loosen and cause the banjo to lose all snap and crisp sound. I tightened the head twice in the five weeks that I owned this banjo (Yes, I sold it and purchased a 'quality banjo') Adjustments are necessary but complete readjustment is a problem on these china made banjos. Also the 5th string fret was cut into while grooving the pip during manufacturing. This caused buzzing which I corrected by flipping the pip over and letting it ride above the fret. The aluminum tone ring is a component of cheaper banjos and sounds tinny regardless of setup. And finally, the tuners were not able to hold tune well, and one was not properly seated fully, half of the shaft was visible out of the wood.The Ugly - Here's the dilemma you are in (perhaps as I was). I wanted to get a cheap banjo to test the waters and see if I'd like it. Didn't want to spend 1000+ for a nice banjo. So I purchased this one. The banjo was a perfect starter banjo and even with all the negative it sounded okay for learning on. The moment I realized banjo playing was definitely in me and I wanted to continue learning and playing more often the flaws of this banjo really surfaced. Cheap tone ring, poor craftsmanship, sub standard components and all really turned me to it. I'm glad I learned on this one and I still think I made the right decision by not investing lots of cash in something I wasn't sure I'd commit to.The Bottom Line - BUY THIS BANJO IF... you have a budget and refuse to spend more on a banjo; you want a decent banjo but don't care about top line craftsmanship or quality of instrument; you are okay with mediocre sounds on the banjo; or you are simply wanting to see if you'll commit to learning the banjo.Final thoughts - I'm glad I learned all I did with this banjo. It was a great beginner banjo. The resale value was there because of the Washburn brand. It played well enough to sound decent to a beginner, though now having played a much better instrument there would be no owning one of these again. I only missed this banjo while waiting for my new banjo to arrive. Recommended only as a limited or beginner banjo.

Excellent!!

I bought this banjo for my wife to learn to play. We love it. It looks great and is easy to play. I tuned it when we received it and it is still in tune. It sounds like an expensive instrument. What a great value. Our friends and relatives think we spent a lot more for it when they see it. I recommend this product highly to anyone wanting a beginner banjo or one to practice on.

Good Instrument

I think CD Potter must have gotten a bad banjo. Mine has been played regularly since November (it is now March) without any of the problems he mentions. The sound stays good, nothing has come apart. tuning pegs are solid, no buzzing, etc. This is the third banjo I have had in my life and the best one yet. I don't know what I am missing by not having an expensive one, and am curious to find out. Others I have seen are more ornate, but I am only interested in playing. For this I see no reason to pay for a more expensive instrument. Afterword - It is now a year later and I have purchased a serious pro banjo, yet I still use this one regularly. It is just as easy to play as the good one ($1k) but it WEIGHS one fifth as much. The good one (Washburn B-17) is MUCH louder with a true bell brass tone ring. But I needed an inexpensive banjo to decide If I would be committed.

Warn 31727 for Ram 2500

Installation is straight forward, easy instructions.The problem I have is the tube is so heavily powder coated I have had to file and scrape for hours to let my Cargo Carrier, Front Ball and Winch Basket slide easily in and out of receiver. If it would have been only one of the items I tried I might have dismissed it, but every 2" Accessory I tried to put in took a hammer and an extra set of hands to put in and remove. But all these accessories fit the rear factory receiver just fine.

I've had this screen installed for a few days now, I've unravelled and contracted it several times and it seems to be fluid and sturdy. (I was weary after reading several reviews on a similar screen that said it was frail and broke quickly) But so far it seems to work fine. Installation was a royal pain, as the studs in my ceiling are almost impossible to find or non-existent. Nevertheless, I did some weight tests and I think it should definitely be secure.As "Movie Buff" from Nashville states, yes... the screen bar is actually a slight off-white, but I think it is for the better, as I have eggshell walls and when rolled back up (or when rolled out) it blends into the wall... with dim lights, the most noticeable aspect is the black frame around the screen which works great with bleed over the edges from your projector. The color produced seems great, although I have little to compare it to and of course it also depends on the integrity of your projector.There is very slight "ripple" effect from the screen being tightened to the pulldown bar... only most noticeable when there is scrolling horizontal text in the movie - which doesn't happen that often - and even then, it is not anything to cry about. (UPDATE) this either seemed to correct itself, or I no longer notice it as it has been a few years and I never think about this issue anymore. The edges do still bow inwards slightly, but only upon the first few minutes of unraveling. If you open it, leave it for a few, then watch your film - no problem.So... as of now, I am giving this 4 stars. Should it fail sometime in the coming months I will update my review, but as of now I have nothing too negative to say about this screen.2012 UPDATE: The screen is still installed perfectly, still unrolls and collapses perfectly, no signs of wear on the screen.

This screen is everything that we need

We bought a Sanyo PLV-Z5 projector, and have it set up in our living room. I wanted a pull down screen so our living room did not have to be a full time theater. I read a lot about screens, and in general, much more high end screens were recommended. Maybe the movie connoisseur with a more depicting eye would not be pleased with this screen, but we have been thrilled. Content has been very bright and vivid, and contrast better than any television we have ever had. We just use it for watching movies, and do not have any high-def sources, but I doubt it would make any difference.The only downside is that this screen does have a bit of a wave in it. After it has been up for a while, we have to tension the bottom corners to pull it flat. This is only noticeable in scenes with a lot of horizontal motion across the screen, and when we add tension, we do not notice it.Overall, if one does not want a fixed screen, I think this is a great screen, and I could not find a better price anywhere.One other note, my sister also purchased this screen and has been equally happy with it.

Wide View for Semi Dark Room

Good price for well made screen. This is just a white bright surface no fancy lenses, not greyish, so use it in a partly darkened room, but you can view it from sides as well as front, so best for a long narrow room with viewers spread out all along the screen instead of in front of it a long ways away, like in an auditorium. It fits my basement recreation room perfectly makes one wall a huge screen that can be seen from anywhere in the partly darkened room.

Great lens for portrait

I just received this lens this week. I would had thought that it was broken if I did not go through the instruction carefully. The aperture ring was set to the lowest f number when it arrived. I got the "FEE" message and my D200 will not take any picture after I attached the lens to the camera. I set the aperture ring back to the higherst f number and the camera recognize the lens perfectly. The pictures are crispy clear. This is a great lens for portrait. Other people already gave the good review already, and I am not going to repeat myself. I do want to point out a few concerns for this lens.1. You have to have a very steady hand, especially when you are taking indoor pictures. A tiny movement will cause considerable blur, so a tripod is recommanded. I guess this is common for macro lens at 100mm.2. You are not getting f2.8 everywhere. The aperture changes from different focal planes.3. The lens is not a fast lens due to the long focal length. You will probably need a flash if you are taking picture indoor.4. The lens feels heavy.

Great lens

I was looking for a macro lens (my first), I was considering Sigma 105mm and tamron 90mm all of them are good choices, but I get better price on this Tokina, The image quality is excellent, It's very sensitive to movement, you have to use a tripode o monopode, even use it on manual mode to catch good pictures. It says that is 2.8 but is 2.8 only when the subjetc is far away. if your subject is closer like 30 centimeters it becomes 4 o 4.5 (aperture). Good Color, very Sharp and a nice little dark buke. The autofocus is slow, but you have to be patient on this kind of pictures. I took some portraints and look great very good.

Grab the handle and choo choo ...

The little boys to whom I gave this toy at Christmas have had a grand time with theirs. They grab onto the handle and drive their trucks all over the house. Perhaps in their imagination they are going from job site to job site and building something fabulous. But the point is, they have fun.There are various Little Tikes Handle Haulers, which gives them lots of opportunities. The colors are bright and each of the many trucks & choo choos are similar, yet different, so you can give one to each child and they will know which is theirs -- though they probably will put them together for a fleet.I am sorry for the gentleman's son who was hurt. The boys who used these toys were one, two, three, and four. I think it is a matter of how they want to drive; they probably don't work well as push toys.

Great hands on toy

I think this toy is great, my son recieved it for his first birthday. At first he wasn't all that thrilled but in time when his interest and skill for pushing things with wheels grew so did they with this toy. The little door in the back really inrested him, he loves just opening and closing, and putting blocks inside to hual around, the nice gripped handle is great too. Really child friendly shapes and textures, colors etc. He can easliy carry it and push the train around and enjoys pushing it along with the construction dump truck one he has as well. He is almost two now, and still plays with these. Even though now he well put his older brothers Thomas the tank engine inside.

Great toy for any train lover!

THis toy is a great toy for any kid to have that loves trains. It is durable and fun. It promotes imagination as well as motor skills. My son loves trains. this toy was perfect for him. He has other handle haulers, he loves to haul around his cars and whatever else he can find. Good toy for the price.

Toyota Highlander Hybrid Cargo Mat

Weathertech description says the mat fits the Hybrid, IT DOES NOT. After talking with the WeatherTech company I found out that WeatherTech does not make a cargo mat for the Hybrid vehicles. Many company who sell WeatherTech incorrectly state that the #41201 will fit. Amazon was very accomodating in not only refunding the purchase but also the return freight carges. Overall a satisfactory transaction. Now to find a cargo mat that will fit.

Beautiful sterling earrings

The vendor was quick to respond to inquiries about two sets of earrings. The shipment arrived quickly and was well packaged to protect the high polish. The only negative is that I wanted larger earrings -- these were the largest I could find on the i-net.

Dog Gets Out

After 1 week my 9 month puppy worked out how to open the 3 catches on the crate. The first time I thought it was my error. I should have trusted myself, the 2nd time she got out and tore up the fitted carpet. I now use cable wraps each time to ensure a closed door.
