Track is great, Cars, not so much..

The kids really like the track. It didn't take me very long to put it together. The rub is with the Darda cars. They just don't last.Two cars came with the track and one of them broke within 3 days. We had also purchased two additional Darda cars to go with it and both of them have broken.So, in less than 3 weeks after Christmas, 3 out of the 4 cars are no longer working. We will buy a few more, for the kids do like playing with the track, but we know the cars probably won't last very long this time either.

Race Track Review

This was purchased for a 4 year old, rough and tumble boy. Assembly took 2 adults, with college educations, several hours to figure out. Very tough if you're not used to assembling toys. But after we got it together, it worked surprisingly well. I thought for sure the car would fall off going upside down. It never did when I used it. The 4 year old did surprisingly well also. It is tough to change shape, so once it's together, generally it will stay like that, but it's all plastic parts, so can be reconfigured. The child loved it Christmas morning, and played with it a lot. The crashes were as fun as the successful runs - perhaps more so. It's a good quality product, and seems like it will outlast this little boy.

Great Little Grill

Living in Florida, I bought the Coleman 9924-750 Perfect Flow InstaStart Table Top Propane Grill for after hurricanes and the loss of power. I also bought it so I can grill on my patio. The set up is easy and clean up is quick. To ease cleanup, I line the bottom with foil and poke a hole where it drains into the grease cup. It works great.

Decent Grill

I have this same grill but with a blue lid. This is a quality peice of hardware, it has a heavy porcelain coated cast iron grate and a grease drip pan underneath and it's compact in size so you can stick it in your trunk for tailgating at concerts or ball games.Pros: 1. Works well when it's windy outside 2. Cast iron grate retains heat so it cooks evenly 3. Compact size 4. Quality build (except the slot and hook catch for the lid and sides)Cons: 1. Get's very messy and greasy, be sure to use aluminum foil under the grate for easier cleaning. 2. Can't cook with the lid closed, so it's really only useful for burgers and dogs. 3. The hooks that keep the lid and sides up don't hold very well if you bump into it, but not a huge problem.If you are using this at tailgate parties I recommend bringing paper towels and some kind of degreaser to wipe it down, as well as a wire brush to clean the grate. Bring some kind of box or bag to store it in so you don't get grease in your trunk.

Great grill, but not for me.

As other reviewers have stated, this grill is good for burgers, dogs, and steaks when you're tailgating. I did grill some egg plant and it was ok as well. My problem is that I love to cook chicken thighs when I'm camping, and it doesn't work well for that. I don't marinate them or put bbq sauce on them until I'm done cooking and it doesn't make a difference except it's easier to clean. It doesn't matter if you bring it up to temperature before you throw them on, and don't move them for awhile. It still sticks. Cleanup is a nightmare because it's a one piece grate that's pretty large. What I've found works better than this for camping (gas grills aren't real grilling anyway) is a Lodge reversible cast iron griddle. It has a griddle on one side and a grill on the other. It's cast iron and comes pre-seasoned. It's a ton easier to clean and I actually use this Coleman grill to heat it up. I'm even thinking of tossing the grill grate from this unit to lose the additional travel weight. If I were a big hot dog and hamburger eater, this unit would get 5 stars. I'm more apt to cook a turkey burger, which would stick to this grill like pine sap on a hairy arm.

excellent kit for home repair and hobby

I've had one of these roll-up tool sets for more than 30 years, I've used it hundreds of times. It contains a full set of nutdrivers, 2 flat-blade and 2 philips screwdriver sizes, a wire cutter, a stripper, 2 handles which all the tool shafts will fit into, and an adjustable wrench. This is all you need for most light electrical work in one compact set. The stitching in the canvas carrier of my set has come unraveled in places over the years however. I don't think I can buy just the carrier. The tools themselves have been very durable.The price shown at the time of this writing is too high however, I have seen them selling for almost half that amount.

Good, but wrong hardware: Letter I wrote to Curt Manufacturing

"Hi, I bought your 13244 Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver for my 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport on Amazon.comJust so you know - it cost me 9 dollars and something (almost 10 bucks) to go to the hardware store to buy the CORRECT BOLTS. The ones included in with your hitch are the WRONG ONES.You say on the instruction sheet that they are 12MM, but they were too big just barely.I went to the hardware store and bought (4) 10MM bolts and (4) 7/16 bolts - which fit. The welded nuts on the underside of a 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport are 7/16.The receiver, carton, and instructions all did have 13244 model number on it - and your hitch is fair once I got it installed. But, I was disappointed that your bolts/ hardware did not fit correctly and that I had take the time and money to go get the right bolts."Therefore, I give this 4 out of 5 stars.Above was original review - I changed it to 3 stars after Curt's basic don't care response.Today I heard back from Curt - They offered NO compensation nor any real concernthat the enclosed hardware was incorrect. Just told me to check how tight the correct bolts were from time to time, because one of their hitches had come offand wrecked the guys boat ?The obvious safety instructions that come with the hitch and common sense would tell one to check the bolts from time to time for safety.I was disappointed at Curt's response and in the future would try either Reese or Valley hitches 1st.

Works great for my bike rack.

Bought the hitch and Allen bike rack for my jeep liberty. The Allen rack holds 4 bike and fits with the spare tire in place. the curt hitch allows me to put on the bike rack whenever I want to go biking and with a separate ball and hitch can haul anything in a small trailer.

Still a great tool kit

These Xcelite 99 tools have been around for more than 35 years, and are still hot sellers. These have better blades than any other kits I've used that use a separate handle type of setup.I keep buying replacement blades as I loose, break, or wear-out individual ones. Don't misunderstand me here, I occasionally mis-use them. The #2 phillips tip does wear out, especially when it gets chucked in a cordless drill and used too from time to time. The straight blades are great for grinding to fit certain old or odd screws too.Unfortunately Wiha moved in on the turf that Xcelite and General once had, not due to quality though.These are still made in USA even. These are not the crappy chinese tools Cooper sells.

The epitome of hand tool kits for electronics and light work

I've had a Xcelite 99MP for over 15 years. It is my "go-to" kit. It will be the kit that I am using in 25 years, if I'm still around. Fantastic quality. I've done my fair share of abuse on some of the bits, and they beg for more.The Bristol splines are somewhat archaic (though you still might run across a Bristol drive screw in some antiquated piece of gear). I've updated my kit with Torx bits, just for fun.The 99MP is discontinued. If you can buy one here, do it.

No drilling!

I was a bit concerned when I read reviews, but I'm glad I took a chance. This hitch is as advertised... no drilling was necessary for my 03 blazer LS. The information sheet I received also said that it would also work with an 04 blazer, but only 2 door models. The hitch is good quality and fits like a glove.Side note: I missed it before buying but I see now that there is really useful information in the product description...Product DetailsView Installation Instruction [408kb PDF] | From the Manufacturer: Learn the Towing Basics [202kb PDF] Product Dimensions: 47 x 14 x 13 inches ; 40 poundsThe instructions state that you should apply 75 foot pounds of torque. Quick and painless install... Almost

Needed a quality hitch receiver for my SUV and this was equal in price to a used equivalent in eBay. Shipping was prompt. Installation was straight forward to anyone comfortable with basic hand tools. (socket wrench, although a 1/2" socket is ideal vs a standard 3/8") as it bolts to existing holes in the frame using heavy duty carriage bolts (supplied)An extra set of hands is not required, but greatly beneficial; otherwise be prepared for some bruised knuckles and some colorful language. Only shortcoming to this receiver is 5 of the 6 holes lined up, but one required very minor drilling.All in all, this was a 2hr project working solo. Solid and sturdy and worth the money vs a eBay 2nd hand used hitch.

Unreal - you must hear it to believe it!

I purchased the Polk Surroundbar with some trepidation, as it is an expensive leap of faith purchase due to the fact that I was unable to find a local Polk dealer with a showroom model to test. I thought the unit would be ideal in my TV room due to the fact that I refuse to drill holes in my hardwood floors to accomodate traditional 5.1 rear speakers.Fit and Finish -The Surroundbar arrived and I was immediately impressed with the integrity of the product packaging. The fit and finish of the bar itself is very impressive. The product is very heavy and solid, encased with a real metal finish, giving it a very hi-tech and sturdy appearance. In addition, the accessories included in the box (stand, mounts, cables) are of the highest quality and complement the surround bar nicely.Performance -When the system was initially set up, I thought it sounded ok. Then I further studied the set-up guide and found that the way my subwoofer was connected and some of the necessary settings on my receiver were incorrect. Instead of the standard RCA type sub connection, I rewired the sub to be in line via speaker wire to the 2 front connections as reccommended by Polk. Also, the speaker size needed to be set to large for all channels. (I've learned to ALWAYS follow the manufacturer's specifications!)Once the adjustments were made, the sound was incredible. The first thing you notice is the overall power of the unit. The sound is huge and imposing. The surround effect is absolutely incredible both with DVDs and Xbox games. I now have almost a full 360 degree sound experience with distinct separation between all channels. Movies with DTS-ES 6.1 sound are a wonder to listen to. This system replaced a 3.1 full-size Onkyo speaker setup and sounds cleaner, more powerful and much better overall than the other full-size speakers ever did!Conclusion -I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I'm getting my demo material picked out so that I can invite my neighbors and buddies to come over and marvel at my new toy. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for with this product - no wires, no drilling holes in the floor, easy setup and excellent performance. Even my wife thinks it's cool!MY HIGHEST RECOMENDATION.

Solid speakers - great alternative to real surround setup

For what it is designed, the speakers are top notch.Pros:The pros are fairly obvious: space saving, great look, no cumbersome wiring, the surround effect is clearly separated, AND it is NOT dependent on room configuration.Additional pro is the sound quality: Mid range is wonderful, jazz and vocal sounds have the fullness you'd expect from Polk Audio. Treble is crisp without breaking. All-in-all, the sound is sufficiently top-notch even for someone who appreciates good sound systems (except for some of you serious audiophiles).Another pro is the speakers are strong enough to handle enough power for a sizable room, say a 20x20 room.Cons:The cons is pretty obvious too. It is not real surround, so it does NOT give 360-degree feel to the sound field, but rather gives about 180-degree feel.Note that you will need to add your own subwoofer that has sufficient power for your room size.Bottom line, I am very happy with this purchase.

Great speakers, too bad Amazon sent me a "re-box"

The speakers are great, but I was disappointed that Amazon (ordered direct) sent a package that had obviously been previously returned, contained the wrong manuals, and was missing the hardware necessary to attach the speaker to the wall mount bracket. Excellent, good-looking product

This is a good-sized litter box (my cat's a fairly large Tom and he's willing to get in there) and it looks good enough to put in a more public place. Cleaning is easy because the drawer slides out, and the rake stores handily in the back.I'm not too fond of the disposable plastic liners--they're bulky and expensive. But you can clean and reuse them a few times, and it keeps the drawer from getting nasty, so I guess it's not that bad.

Product Description

The BK Precision 388A digital multimeter (also known as a multitester) is an average-sensing, manual-ranging meter for measuring current, voltage, resistance, capacitance, and frequency in electrical testing applications. The meter comes with a set of detachable test leads. The logic test reports the logic state of an electronic circuit. The meter measures the forward current gain of NPN and PNP transistors. An audible continuity sensor confirms a circuit conducts electricity, and a diode test detects proper functioning of a circuit’s diodes. The microamp function identifies current changes in flame detector applications. A hold function keeps a reading on the display, even after the meter has been disconnected. The maximum hold function keeps the highest value for the session on the display. An alarm sounds when the test leads are connected to the wrong jack for the measurement being taken. The unit automatically turns off after 45 minutes of nonuse to conserve battery life, and a low-battery indicator signals when the meter's batteries need to be replaced. The meter's body is made of molded rubber, which helps protect it against damage from falls, impacts, and abrasion. The meter has a built-in tilt stand for propping on a flat surface, and a hanging strap is included for hands-free use.

This average-sensing , or average-responding, meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear loads, such as standard induction motors and incandescent lights, where the current or voltage has an undistorted waveform. It is a manual-ranging meter that requires the operator to choose the appropriate operating range for the property being measured. The LCD has a 4,000-count resolution, meaning it can display up to 3,999 units (3-3/4 digits) before the operating range needs to be changed. It meets International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standard 61010 and is certified for Category III installations up to 1,000V, which covers items used with enclosed building circuit installations (such as service panel parts, branch circuits, and fixed installations that are connected directly to a building's AC power supply).

Multitesters (also called multimeters) are electrical test meters that measure multiple properties of an electrical circuit, such as current, voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity. Professional quality

I'm a service engineer, this replaced my old Test Bench unit that I had for 20 years that was thrown around in my travel toolbox for about 1000 air flights and it still worked, now retired as my garage voltmeter. I hope to get the same durability and rock solid performance of of this iteration. So far, so good, so easy to use and the cables are substantial. Could not ask for more.

This is the best! Forget the rest!

I have done extensive research, testing and fiddleling on flat panels tv's. And I just have to tell you. You will not find a better display anywhere on this planet for sell right now(2-01-2006)! The Panasonic TH 50PHD8UK 50 commercial model is far superior to any other plasma display and non plasma displays, like DLP and others! Even the Panasonic consumer models are no match for this beast! The commercial models are built for precision viewing and durability ! You will never see a consumer model in a news room or government agency! If anyone tell you that the commercial and consumer models are the same, They're wrong! Do your own research! I purchased my plasma from 1800plasmas.com. They are very professional, and will give you a sweet price to boot! Make sure your Panasonic Plasma come from Japan, AND NO WHERE ELSE! Outstanding picture! Excellent versatility!

ABOUT WHERE I PURCHASED THE TV FROM:I bought this TV (technically a monitor) from Butterfly Photo. Although they weren't the cheapest (still got a great price), it was an online store I've bought from in the past and I knew they had a physical location if I needed to get in there face about something. Turned out to be one of my best shopping experiences which is very comforting for such a large purchase. They called me the next night after I placed my order to let me know that the TV DOES NOT come with the component video (RGB) connections that is used to connect to my DVD player, cable box, and Xbox. I thought he was just trying to get me to buy more stuff, but it checked out on Panasonic's website, so got me the component video terminal board for $100 off the cheapest site I could find. Then they upgraded my warranty and shipping for free! So, much to my surprise, I had the TV the next day.ABOUT THE TV:I should note that every part of my A/V system (TV, audio receiver, cable box, DVD, and Xbox) is connected and powered through Monster cabling and surge protector. Since this TV does not have speakers, the only thing I can comment on is the picture...and it is OUTSTANDING! I've had the TV for a couple of weeks now and used a Panasonic white paper (http://www.fcw.com/vendorsolutions/panasonicplasma.pdf) as a guide on "breaking in" the TV. In general, how plasma TVs are used in the first 100 hours is critical for the longevity and picture quality, particularly their susceptibility to burn-in. A lot of retailers say that if you are going to play console games, you should get anything other than a plasma. This is generally wrong for current generation plasmas, and especially wrong for this TV, Panasonic TH-50PHD8UK 50" Plasma HDTV, because it has a number of options (e.g. wobbling and screen savers) that can be activated to reduce the already low chance of burn-in to a negligible chance.The space scenes in the Fifth Element looked incredible because the empty space was inky yet the stars still shone clearly and distinctly. Jet Li's Hero was fantastic! The color themes in the movie really demonstrated the exceptional color saturation and depth that the TV is capable of, especially the lake scene! There is no lag or blurring during fast action scenes in movies or on the Xbox.My only complaint is that there are not enough HD channels. This TV does do a far better job of displaying non-HD (4:3) content without pixelating than other HDTVs I've seen.If you're looking for something wrong with the TV, then you won't find it having to do with anything with the picture quality. It does not come with speakers, so you'll need the optional speakers or an external home theater system. It does not have a TV tuner, so you'll need a cable box or the optional terminal board. It does not come with the consumer component connections (RGB), and I did have to buy that.BOTTOM LINE:I honestly would rather watch movies with this TV (plus my sweet sound system) than going to a theater. It's that good.

The best plasma for the money

I've had experience with several HDTVs and this one is the best especially at this price. This is actually a commercial model TV which is a good thing. You don't have to pay for extra speakers and a tuner you won't use and its a generation ahead of consumer models in display tech.Forget having to tweak the settings all day using a setup DVD to get the best picture, this thing looked amazing out of the box. I barely had to change anything to get a perfect picture. My old Sony HDTV required hours of tweaking to get anywhere near the image quality.I've never seen a better picture than this TV displaying from an HD-DVD. Its simply like you are looking through a window.In regards to the person saying you have to buy an add-on board for 'consumer' component inputs, he is wrong. This TV comes with the component input board and you just have to buy BNC->RCA adaptors to connect up to it. Whoever made him buy a consumer component input board just robbed him of 120 bucks when he could of just bought the BNC adaptors for 5 bucks.However you DO have to buy an HDMI input board if you want HDMI. It is recommended with this set because of this (from Panasonics info page): "Up to 2,048 shades of gradation (4,096 shades via HDMI or DVI connection)". I'm not sure why that is.
