Sturdy and Beautiful

Received the shipment in 5 well-packed boxes from CEVA. No problem with shipping, and no missing or damaged items. Read previous reviews and felt a little apprehensive, but after weeks--nay months--of shopping for the perfect table, we though we found it...and we were right! The chairs DO require some assembly, but after the seventh chair you will be a pro! I kid, of course. It took my wife and I just over three hours to assemble the chairs and table. If you're concerned about assembling the table, all you have to do is attach the legs...piece of cake!It's a very beautiful and sturdy table. The leaf mechanism works very well. Our family enjoyed eating pizza on our brand new table this evening.P.S.Murphy's Oil Soap works fantastic on this table. Cleans it right up!

LOOKS GREAT!

We ordered this beginning of November 2012 and after contacting Vision Decor we were notified that it would arrive late and were told that we would get 10% off. We are waiting for them to apply the credit as of this date.That was the first thing that went wrong. It arrived when they said it would after we contacted them. Always expect a nick or two if you are getting something shipped cross country as this had a pea size knick in an obvious spot- we used Guardsman marker to cover it. They did an awesome job of packaging the items and you will receive 5 boxes: 1 with the table and 4 with two chairs each. Also, there was a slice in the wood underneath the table where the leaf slid in - luckily this did not affect anything. The fabric on the chairs is cream with a light boxed design which is very nice.The wood on top is sensitive - shows fingerprints easy but I use Guardsman wood furnitire polish once a week and a plain rag to clean or lightly damp rag to clean daily and it has been fine. The chairs take some time to put together but my husband did not mind.With this said, I still love the table. It looks great and looks more than what was paid. Accomodates 8 people which is nice.So in summary, you may have one or two issues but I would have purchased this table regardless - just waiting for our 10% credit because we did not get it by Thanksgiving.

I purchased this table and chairs last year and it took over 2 months and 3 separate shipments to get all the pieces. On top of it, the supports in one of the corners of the table were cracked and broken off of the table in several pieces. I knew I would have to assemble the set myself (which was not a problem - I actually enjoy this part), but now I had to also dig out my drill, wood glue, and clamps in order to put the table back together again so I could attach the 4th leg. I know I could have just returned the table, but the damage was concealed (I wouldn't have seen it until all the components were completely unpacked and removed from loads of cardboard and plastic strapping), and the delivery guys were long gone, AND I had already been waiting over 2 months for my table and chairs when I was expecting to have it delivered within a week. I had to take a day off of work for the delivery and after explaining to VisionDecor that I could not take any more days off of work for the delivery of the remaining pieces (they were all supposed to have been delivered together). They ended up just FedExing the remaining chairs to me in 2 additional shipments so I didn't have to worry about scheduling another delivery. The guys I worked with at VisionDecor were apologetic, calm, helpful, and nice, but I was really disappointed in the fact that they couldn't stick to dates, didn't have a great grasp on their inventory levels, and after all was said in done, I ended up with a broken table. On the flip side, the quality is pretty good (I replaced the cushions), and the set looks great in my condo. I especially like the butterfly leaf.
