Product Description

This computer desk, while modern and stylish, is designed for maximum comfort. Unlike cheaper desks that are made out of inexpensive plywood that bend and sag after a few months of use, our desks are made out of heavy-duty MDF board which is ultra strong and is certain to provide years of exceptional performance. This desk features heavy-duty double wheels that are hooded for your safety. Two of the wheels have locking mechanisms to keep your computer cart in place. The desk has a slide-out keyboard tray that is ergonomically positioned to minimize wrist fatigue and make long periods of typing as comfortable as possible. This desk was designed to get your complete PC unit into the smallest possible space. The top monitor shelf measures 29 7/8 x 19 3/8 inches and is 31 1/2 inches off the ground. Most CPUs will fit in the bottom CPU shelf. The surfaces are finished with a scuff resistant Maple color PVC material. And the bracing is a silver powder coated metal. Assembly required. Computer not included.

4Not bad, needs some extra work, and the direction is an intelligence test ;=)

4-11-2012, RevA.Overall, its pretty sturdy, key board tray could be sturdier...The directions are pictures and numbers, and in some cases, is not that clear...Hints:A1) DO-NOT TOUCH the standard (straight) screws that are pre-installed in the wood)!!! Only tighten the Philips (Plus sine) screws.A2) Don't open bags of screws till need! The bags are labeled.B) (#1; idem 3, 5, screws B). Assemble Idem-3 and 5 and screws-B, on one side, and then set the assembly on its side and attached the other screws.C) (#3; idem 6,7, screws D). The thinner side attaches to the key board tray (and the beveled side outward). The wider side to the L-bracket (Item-6).D1) (#3; idem 6,7, screws D). The tray nut/screws need to be installed backwards to convention, nuts outward. This requires you to disassemble the slider:Open the slider till you see the black plastic tab inside, push it in the apposite direction than it is now, to release it. Wiggle and pull apart the two pieces till they separate (it takes little effort (not a lot). Reverse process to reinstall. The black plastic piece is self-latching (don't mess with again).D2) Needs to be tightened later with a 7mm socket, that is not provided. Otherwise the slider will rub (the nuts hit), as you slide in and out the key board tray.E) (#3; idem 7) The bracket (Idem-6) attaches to the outer most oval part of the slider (idem-7).F) (#3; idem-4 (the tray). On mine on one side, ONE of the screw holes was miss-drilled. I added a tooth pick to fill the bad hole. Then I alined the slider to center, and while applying slight presser, using the screw, I installed the screw in the right place.G) (#2, Scres-C). Flip over the assembly and instal screws-C.H) (#2, idem-8). Do this the very last, after the top (idem-2) is installed. And a nit-pick:The bottom is black (witch is good), but the metal is silver-tone paint. Black paint would be nicer....
