Ok here we go. I wrote that review on the Honda Minimoto Dirtbike.I said how it was not good and how I purchased the Go Kart and the Maxxi and they also had problems. Read that review, the title is "TRUST ME READ THIS". I said to myself you know what im going buy the Razor MX500 Dirt Bike. WOW WHAT A GREAT BUY!!!!!! This thing is durable, safe, and fun. I recommend it for ages 8-15 years old. However there are reviews for other razor products about the battery life. Yes the battery life is not good, IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I followed the directions and my MX500's battery is fantastic. To have a good motor and battery follow these easy steps...1. Take MX500 out of box CAREFULLY!2. Assemble in order of the directions (If you follow them it will be assembled in 20 minutes).3. Turn MX500 on and JUST FOR ONE SECOND TWIST THE THROTTLE just to make sure it works. (Do not ride just a flick of the throttle just to check).4. Charge the MX500 overnight or for 12 or more hours (The key is to charge it for 12+ hours)5. Take the charger out and go rideIf you follow these directions given your MX500 will be perfect.

This toy is very durable and well manufactured...it is loads of fun...i jus got it with my own money and took it out today for the first time...excellent...and the battery life is great if u charge it for the 12 hours as it says in large print... i rate this toy a 10+...very fast and great offroad...HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!!!!

We have owned the Razor MX500 Dirt Rocket Electric Motocross Bike since February, 2010. It is used EVERY single day by my 55lb 11 year old. He loves it. The kids in the neighborhood love it. We have not had a problem with the battery life at all, but my son takes really good care of it and followed the directions exactly. Also, I might add, this is NOT difficult to assemble at all. The majority of it is assembled already. My 11 year old assembled it by himself!!! All we had to do was come in when he was done and tighten up the bolts. The one thing that I love about this "dirt bike" is that it is so quiet. Even though he is riding on an acre of property, we don't annoy the neighbors when he gets near their homes. It doesn't eat up the grass either!!This is definitly a great product!Update 10/2010: Our Razor dirt bike is still going strong and gets ridden EVERY single day! Just wanted to update my review now that more time has elapsed!
