4one of the best backpack styles i've tried
By sap
have previously owned the north face, swiss army and ogio backpack styles. this one comes the closest to being the best of all worlds for me. not perfect, but is as compact as any of my previous ones and affords exponentially better protection. the sides are somewhat rigid, so the bag does not compress and smash the display against the keyboard. this makes the cargo room rather sparse, but the notebook is much safer. the front pockets will hold plenty of flat items (ipod, glasses, pens, cd's), but nothing with any real bulk. there is a nice pouch to hold the charger and there is ample space in the accessory pocket for a mouse, a few cords and other such small items. a few magazines or folders worth of documents will fir nicely in the main bay, but not much else. the cell phone and water bottle pouches on the outside of the bag work well, too.

5Well-constructed Notebook Backpack
By D. Grayson
I ordered this notebook to hold my school-issued Gateway Tablet computer. It is well-constructed and solid. The computer is well protected with ample amounts of padding. There is more than enough room to put all the standard cords and cables in the front Velcro pocket. I can put several folders and small paperback textbooks in the zippered compartment behind the front Velco pocket. Each pocket also has room and compartments for assorted school supplies, calculators, assignment books, etc. The straps are very well padded. Even though the computer weighs a lot for being a notebook, it hardly seems like any weight due to the strapping and solid construction. It is well worth the money.

5My Favorite Laptop Bag So Far
By Reed G. Porter
I've been lugging various laptops around for the last ten years. Recently an opportunity arose which required I purchase a second laptop. I already had a big backpack bag large enough to hold my laptop, power cords for all my devices, files, medicines, business cards, an MP3 player, 2 sets of headphones (cell and MP3)... well you get the idea. What I wanted for my new Dell 810 was a bag big enough to accommodate a 15" wide computer, the extra power cord I purchased with it and not much more. (I enthusiastically recommend getting a spare power cord for your laptop. You will thank me later).I'd nearly given up. All I could find were those neoprene sleeves with no room for the power supply or units much too bulky or units costing way more than I wanted to spend. Then this bag showed up in Amazon's Daily Deals feed. It looked pretty good at a price that cannot be beat, so I ordered it.I am so glad I did! It arrived last night on my doorstep. I opened it up and explored the bag. It has leather looking visible panels, high quality zippers, and lots of padding on the back and straps. There is a handle to make carrying it easy while you have your other bag on your shoulders. There are 3 pouches. The outer one under the Velcro flap houses your quick grab items. The center compartment has several pockets and flaps for pens, media, electronics and such. The largest compartment has a removable cables bag and a neoprene flapped laptop cradle that tucks my 810 in snug as a bug in a rug. The hidden water bottle net is neat and I use cell phone pockets for everything but cell phones. (They are a great place to hide your Skittles!)Although the bag is compact in size it can hold a lot. Great bag at a great price.
