Excellent Garden Train Starter Set

Bachmann was the first company to make Large Scale (Garden-Sized) trains available for a reasonable price. The locomotive pulling this train has been redesigned about six times since those days, and the coaches have been upgraded, too.Bachmann has offered this set as a "special offer" or "limited edition" from time to time, but it is now available as part of their 2009 lineup. The train is big enough to draw attention in your back yard, or to cause jaws to drop if you put it around your Christmas tree. If you get this to run outside, though, save the track for indoors - you'll need sturdier track, like that from AristoCraft, to hold up to real weather.Paul Race - editor, Family Garden Trains

OK, but not the best

Its OK, but not proficient. If you play with it to much it breaks. The smoker fluid is a little tricky. If you cut in the wrong place, it spills out like crazy. The box is delicate and breaks easily (so keep it away from children under 9!) And when I herd it had sound, I bought it and got a huge surprise. It didn't make the whistle sound, it just went chg chg chg. And my biggest complainant is the connecters. The first few go one fine, but after that my Mom or Dad are doing it for me. It would be better if you screwed it on a table. But on the bright side it dose go its average speed, and stays on the track well.-SETH, 10

I have been watching this item for a couple of months and see that thebuynetwork had a sale on this train. So I snatched it up. Im so glad I did. the train is awesome. I love everything about it.
