could be the cold

it could be the cold weather or it could be the pump however i used this pump initially to pump out the lines of my RV water system and it seemed to take forever to move around 25 gallons of liquid.i am not going to blame the pump however because this isnt what it is designed for. what i intend to use this pump for is running pond water into a filtration system for my RV, for this use i am sure it will be more than adiquite.so this is what i have learned;it couples well with a 12v dry cell battery and a solar panel.it will pump out of a near sealed container with about a 3ft. drop at a rate of about 25 Gallons in 10 minutes which comes out to about 150 GPH but again, this is a non-standard use so go ahead and expect it to do the 600 GPH advertised when working at a 0 incline.is packs away small and primes quickly from "DRY"all in all, i think it is a great pump for the price.
