good quality cable just saves so much headache!

I bought a couple of spools of this, and not only did it come in a really easy to pull box (with wood spool inside), the cable jacket is nice and thick, the 4 twisted pairs are souple and easy to un-twist as well as inserting them into the 5E connectors.I didn't have a single problem with install, or transmission with this cable. I will be buying this for ALL future installs I do.MONSTER is usually over-priced, but this was a great deal at $76 for 1000'.the brand is still good and its still worth it.also, my spool lists cat 5, but on the jacket it lists Category 5 enhanced. it is CAT5E, and I have run GbE though it. CL2 rated.

Good Ethernet Cable

We purchased this cable for use a work. It is good cable and has a much thicker jacket than I am used to working with, and the jacket tends to bend funny when you do a 90 degree turn. Perhaps because the box identifies it as riser cable. The box we received was also Cat5, not Cat5E. For our implementation that was not a problem, but it might be for someone else. All in all I find it to be good cable. A box typically lasts us a year at work, so if something changes I'll come back and update this review.

I have done a lot of networking with this cable.. I am also using it to wire my house with DS18B20 temperature sensors. So far I have had 0 issues! Worth the price great quality cable.
