Product Description
Like Crocs with even thicker skin, these gaiters are made to function on extended mountaineering trips, in cold weather and difficult conditions. They are larger in circumference, giving you more room for plastic boots and insulated pants. The inside leg of each gaiter is made of durable Cordura® fabric that resists crampon snagging.

These gaiters are the top of the line. They are super rugged with the ability to withstand a ridiculous amount of abuse. Any time I have ever worn these I have never had any issues with things getting in my boots from mud to snow to water even. I have walked through water up to mid calf (for a short time of course) and these gaiters have kept me dry. The velcro closure on the front definitely feels super solid and I like the cam closure at the top of the calf. We had a hard time figuring out the size we needed..order by shoe size received product and was too big...but Amazon Prime is so awesome, we shipped it back and in the meantime Amazon shipped out a new pair to us...... it made the process a breeze!!! My son loves the product, says they are quiet, and keep him warm and dry!!

I've tried about a half dozen different gaiters and these are the toughest, most effective I've ever used. Both OR and Gore-tex have a lifetime guarantee which is great peace of mind when buying an important piece of gear. I am a part of a program called MountainTechs and I do product testing for Gore-tex so I get my hands on a lot of gear. This is one of the most functional and well designed items out there and OR is the only way to go for gaiters.
