The components integrate directly with your XM satellite-ready car stereo, letting you control the XM features through your stereo's existing buttons and knobs.The XM Direct is also notably compact, installing discreetly behind the dashboard to maintain an uncluttered appearance. The only slightly tricky item is the micro antenna, but even that is straightforward, with a magnetic mount that attaches securely to the outside of your vehicle. GM XM Direct

I purchased this unit to have XM radio in my 2005 Chevy SSR. The product arrived in a timely manner and in perfect condition. The installation was straight forward and it works great. All factory radio controls work and you would think it came with the truck. The price was right. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I installed this in my 2007 GMC Sierra . In the past I had used a Roady unit but found this product that simply hooks into the original RDS radio and works great. My truck has been in 42 states and I've never lost signal other than tunnels and obvious obstructions like mountains and skyscrapers when you are directly next to them.

Had many problems trying to find an audio place to help me get xm in my truck, they kept saying it wasn't possible. So I found this and was able to install very easily myself. It works great just like the factory installed one in my other truck. Can't tell a difference.
