Product Description
Pelican Protector Cases are made with Copolymer Polypropylene, using an open cell core and solid wall construction, which is stronger and lighter that the completion. You can tell its a Pelican case by the distinctive "twin-ribbed" top surface. Stainless steel pins are used for hinges and handles. The new Double-Throw latches are much easier to open.

Well built and sturdy enough for any reasonable use.

I find that the larger Pelican cases (as opposed to the small to tiny cases) are well built and as sturdy as the day is long. I have purchased several of various sizes for various purposes, and I am not disappointed in any way. You get what you pay for as a general rule. "Cheap" buys you junk. If you can live with junk then good on you. If you need quality, you are going to have to spend a few extra nickels (or bucks in this instance) to get the better quality.

Can't beat a Pelican Case. I especially like the lid pocket options you can buy. I own at least 10 Pelican's in different sizes. My underwater camera gear is fully protected when I travel.
