good bugle

This bugle is a good bugle. It is not too expensive, so youcan bring it along to camp and places where it's OK if somethinghappens to it. It is easy to play.It is not a high-end bugle, but it sounds decent. It is light.Depends what you want it for. If you are learning and don't wantto spend too much, this is OK. If you are really good and youcan take good care of a better one, get a better one. But just tolearn on, and to take to camp with you, get this one.

A good Boy Scout bugle

This bugle does what is expected. It looks good and is capable of playing all the bugle calls necessary to get the Boy Scout Bugler merit badge.

I am a Musician, and I play many different wind instruments. My first Brass instrumentwas the Trombone, thus the mouthpiece supplied with this Bugle was a little bit too shallowin the cup for me. I rented a French Horn mouth piece from a local Music store so I could play"Taps" at my Father's Funeral on June 25th, 2011. It worked fine, and the price is very reasonable,for a new Horn.
