Used and abused for years

I have looked high and low for this chair for my home, and am ordering two of them today. I work in an office where this chair was assigned to my desk 4 years ago. It's not rated for large people (not on a special site, etc) but I tell you, it can take it. I weigh A LOT and the chair at work has taken the abuse for 4 years of 9 hour days and I've NEVER had a problem. It's not got the gigantic seat of the "large person" specialty chairs like the one I ordered from another site 2 months ago, rated for a 500 pound person (even though I'm nowhere near that number), that I am already sending back because the hydraulics didn't hold up and now the tilt broke. (It also has a flat hard seat and is so deep the lumbar support is nowhere near my actual back. The chair size reminds me of that big chair Lily Tomlin's character Edith Ann used to sit in on Laugh In back in the 60s/70s). THIS chair is the perfect combination of comfort for a large person--the arms aren't so tight they pinch, but it's comfortably snug. The seat isn't a chore to sit on for 9 hours a day. I am SO happy I finally found this chair so I can have it at home AND work.
