Wish upon a Star...

Wow. No, realy, wow. How I wish this thing had been made available to us Americans when I was still a youngling. Perhaps one of the most majestic incarnations of one of the best Transformers ever made. Star Convoy is eye catching in the extreme and dwarfs most other Primes, even some in super mode or combined with other autobots.Transformation is a breeze and the arms-to-cab bit is a refreshing change of pace from the standard way of doing things.Be warned, however, that the robot mode is a compleat brick with mobility in the arms and nowhere else. Also, his micro-master base mode looks kinda like Prime did a split and now can't get back up. And I felt sorry for Hot-rod here, going from Bearer Of The Matrix to Tinkerbell size. But as an awe inspiring collectors piece Star Convoy is hard to beat.

Definately worth adding to your collection. Comes with a miniature Transforming Hot Rod. a Great Fig. overall. Recommended

I enjoyed this figure from head to toe. If you have some Mini-Cons or legends class figures, his base mode will come to a good use. Truck mode is awesome (due to the motor gimmick). In robot mode he is a statue. He isn't as good as G1 Optimus Prime, but is still cool. The Micromaster Hot Rod (or Rodimus) is a nice piece to be included. He comes with a red cog so, if you have Grandus, you can run his elevator lift. So, in my opinion, Star Convoy is highly recomended. I give the figure a solid 10/10.
