Professional grade water pump with new power magnetic vortex rotor blade technology. Drive shaft is made of hardened ceramic and runs on ceramic bearing inside the impeller. Compact pump with more output power, only comparable to an external MD water pump. Energy effecient water pumps, with excellent gallons of water flow per watt of power used. Can be used for water circulation and comes with all attachments to operate as a main filtration pump. 1290 gallons per hour. 60 watts. Maximum head - 10.8 foot. Output tubing size - 3/4 or 1 inch.

Good pump for the money

The RIO HF series of pumps is an excellent value. I just replaced my old RIO 20HF with a new one after several years of faithful service. They run quietly, have low energy consumption and can push a large volume of water.Sure there are better pumps, but those are going to cost you quite a bit more money. It is really hard to beat the value of these pumps especially considering the amount of use I got out of them.My only real negative is that these pumps do seem to give off quite a bit of heat into the water. I don't have anything to compare this against though.Overall, I have been very pleased with all the RIO pumps that I have owned.

Bought this pump to supplement a exsisting pump in use in a sump filterThis pump works so well i removed the first pump and it is now a emergency backup this is a excellent low cost pump. I highly recommend it and the seller.

I use this pump to do water changes in my aquarium.I do around a 30% water change in my 110g tank every other day and I use to siphon the water out which would take quite some time. I need the pump to push water 10' through a 1" ID hose, the distance from my aged water barrels to my tank, which the tops sits 5'6" from the floor.This made a process that use to take me over an hour to do, siphoning the water then using a weak pump that claimed 700+ gph, now takes me less than 15 min. Pump the water out, then pump the water in.Super quick and efficient!
