4Good speakers
By Z. Whelan
I use these speakers as my surround and rear channel speaker so most of the time I don't noticed they are there. When I set the amp to 7-stereo or music the speakers come to life and give of rich full sound. Installation was fairly easy, the ceiling required 8' holes, then the speakers clipped onto the sheetrock with screws to secure the clips and prevent vibration. I installed the speakers into new construction, the wires were run prior to sheetrock, and the speakers were installed prior to attic insulation, the job took less than hour, but if you're running wires add several hours.

5Easy installation and Good sound for Great Price
By S. Mckelvy
SoundI would like to start off by saying that I am not an audiophile. That said I think that these speakers are awesome surround speakers. If you are looking for speakers that would go with your mid level surround sound system these are perfect. If you are dropping a few thousand dollars on surround sound then I dont think these are your style but you would probably already know that. Also I'm not sure that these would be very good for the front surround speakers. I have JBL floor stand speakers up front. (Its hard to beat a decent set of floor stand speakers)<- strictly opinionInstallationAs far as installation goes it took me 4 hours to run the speaker wire through the wall and ceiling but once that was done the holes were measured cut and both speakers were mounted in about 20 minutes. No nails, studs, or support brackets. You clip the wires into the connection on the back of the speaker place flush against the ceiling in the hole (a template is provided for the perfect hole size) and tighten the screws on the face of the speaker(it has dog ears on it that flip out and hold tight against the drywall). Then just paint the faceplate the color of your roof and they are seamlessly installed.DurabilityI have had these speakers installed for a week and cant really judge the reliability on experience. I can say that I have had a low level Yamaha surround sound system for the past 10 years and it sounds just as good now as it did the day I got it. Now that Ive upgraded to a mid level surround sound I would hope that with materials such as Kevlar cone woofers and Titanium Dome Tweeters would be able to stand the test of time and the massive amount of abuse that I plan on inflicting to these speakers.

5Awesome
By Tucknott
Great sound! They're very easy to install and the pivoting tweeters are a big plus! They're also fairly shallow in depth which was helpful when I had to clear a joist running across and above the speaker.
