Kato doesn't put their name on junk

My 15 year old powerpack died out last year right before christmas as i was dry running my train set. while i have kato trains and tacks i was using an old revell power pack my father gave me in the 90's. in any event, power pack works well, love the oversize controls for an all thumbs guy like me, and even after running for hours on end, it was not uncomfortably hot. while i only use it at christmas, i am hoping for at least the same amount of years from this. stick with kato for trains and accessories. you may pay a few bucks more, but buying from amazon with their discount, no sales tax and free shipping eases the pain.
