small package with good playability

I play classical guitar and have other guitars with various scale-length. This is a short-scale length guitar 524mm (20-1/2") that I will use when playing music written for guitar over two centuries ago.It serves its purpose as the sound and sustain is better than average for a small instrument.The guitar was made in Romania with a solid spruce top,solid beech sides,and laminated back.The neck with is 44.4mm (1-3/4")with a total length of 822.8mm (32-3/8").As soon as I received I placed a new set of strings on it and within 72 hours of "strings-stetching" the guitar holds the tuning.The overall size falls between a 1/2 size and 3/4 size instrument.The overall craftmanship is excellent and going by the "quality control" document that came with the guitar it was made in November 2007.That is over 2 years ago and I am not sure if you can get a similar level of craftmanship quality on this size instrument in today's market without paying a premium for it. If you need a short-scale small guitar in the 1/2 size to 3/4 size range I think this Montana C12 model being market as a 5/8 size should be a top contender.Only suggestion is to place a new fresh set of strings on it. - This you should do anytime you get a non-luthier-made string instrument.Strings loose their timbre after they spend long periods in storage without being used.
