Westin Signature Series Polished Step Bar is manufactured from stainless steel. Good quality and easy installation

I purchased this step bars since short-legged people (ha ha ha.... kids!) had difficulty with climbing into cabin. It took me about 20min to install the first one. Other side took a lot shorted than that, so it's pretty easy! Also easy to understand the installation manual helped me a lot.Polish aluminum is the way to go! No rust after two MI winters. Just so you know, MDOT put a lot of salt on roads....Installation Wisdom:The tube is pretty long and a little bit heavy for one person to install. Be sure to put packing material under the tube to keep it from damaging. I almost hit one end on concrete drive way.... Good luck!

Westin Step Bars

Aside from a shipping mishap that delayed receipt of the product, these step bars came as advertised. Directions for installation were not the best, but one eventually figures it out. Took about 1.5 hours to install both and they look great on the truck.

Good, but instructions lacking

These bars look good, and seem sturdy on my 04 Dodge RAM, but the instructions are seriously lacking - fuzzy black and white photos in which you can barely see how things go together, washers which are too big to fit in the designated space, etc... Really, just a few good assembly drawings and a bit more care in the instructions would make these 5 star in my book. Took me 2 hours to put 'em on, start to finish - most of that was just trying to figure out what bits they were talking about.
