Lynco® Biomechanical Sports Orthotics are designed specifically for comfort, support and weight redistribution in athletic, walking and comfort footwear. The L425 is a posted sports orthotic designed to provide comfort for conditions usually associated with flat feet such as plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. These orthotics feature rearfoot posting and longitudinal arch support to help realign the rearfoot and control the over-pronation. Additional metatarsal padding provides forfoot comfort. These tri-density orthotics feature a Pro-ShoxTM top cover for superior cushioning and shock absorption. Pro-Shox's high-tech polyester fibers wick moisture away from the foot and provide a cool, friction free surface to prevent blisters and other foot problems. Exteme Comfort

I love these things! I've been using them in my athletic/casual shoes for about 10 years now (not the same pair). I've even used them in a pair of sandals that had removable recessed insoles. The posting helps if your feet lean inward, and the metatarsal support helps take pressure off your heals. It is an adjustment when you first try them, if you've never used metatarsal support before. The lump may initially feel uncomfortable or even slightly painful while the tendons in your foot stretch a little, but you'll very quickly adjust. I'm never without my L425 insoles, unless I have on dress shoes. In that case I use a 3/4 length Birkenstock insert with posting and metatarsal support.Highly recommended.

My husband had terrible plantar fasciitis in both feet. He uses these orthotics in all of his shoes & hasn't had another flare. A pair lasts about 6 months & then we replace them.

Lynco sports orthotics

I've seen these orthotics priced as much as $20 more in some local shoe stores. Even at Amazon's lower cost they are still pricey compared to other over the counter slip in orthotics. However,for me they are the most effective at relieving foot pain and numbness that I have found to date. I enjoy hiking and walking for exercise and comfortable feet are a big priority for me. My advice -- if the cost does not put you off too much, try them.
