Motor for Flying Crank Ghoset

This motor works great to operate the crank arm used in the flying crank ghost I setup for Halloween. It is strong enough to pull the marionette up and down without hesitation. The rpms allows for slow movement, which creates an eerie effect. The motor runs continuously for about 5hrs a night and I have not experienced any problems. I would recommend this item for similar type projects.Happy Halloween...

I have two of these motors and use them for Halloween props I made. The slow speed of the motor and high torque make this motor an ideal choice for props. I used this motor both indoors and out doors for many hours this year and did not have any problems.

Several years ago I built a crank ghost. The motor that was originally used was a Dayton 2Z806. The gear box failed in 2010. I learned the motor was discontinued. In 2011 I learned the IMBF5 was a replacement. I installed this for the Halloween season. I was concerned as to the OA dimensions, and especially the mounting hole pattern. It came off without a hitch and is working well. I found this at other sites which had a total cost less then Amazon. However, I have purchased from Amazon in the past and have been completely satisfied with their total customer committment.
