Easy replacement

My husband easily replaced my son's broken tail light with this piece. I thought he was crazy since he has never worked on a car before but he did it.

I was very disappointed with the product.

It did not fit as well as the original. It stuck out slightly and did not bed down into the rubber seals. Also the wiring for the bulbs was wrong: the amber light stayed on all the time and none of the bulbs worked as in the brake light, turn signal, etc. Only the the casing was damaged on the original so in the end the only way I could get it to work was to use the new casing and subsititute my old circuit board and bulbs for the new one. So I basically payed for the casing as the new circuit board/ bulbs did not work.

I bought this taillight lens for my daughters 2002 Malibu. It is a great value parts. It is about a third of the price of after market at advanced auto parts. The lens fit and matched perfectly and only took a few minutes to change. If you buy anywhere else your just waisting money. And of course amazon made the purchase extremely easy as usual.
